I SEE ON CLEAR DAYS... (PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES)

Sometimes the days are clear, yes... I mean when there's no fog in the streets, whether it's on a typical morning or when I go out and take photos at midday on clear days. Then, the act of photographing becomes a bit more complex, and this mainly has to do with the appearance of a lot of additional details in the visual plane. And I don't say this solely from a technical point of view, because you know very well that I'm not a particularly skilled or adept person when it comes to technicalities. I'm referring more to the act of framing and managing the capture of a photo, taking into account certain things that, with a lot of fog, might not be there or would be much more hidden within the dense atmosphere. These might be solid objects, but also the most dramatic highlights and shadows, which undeniably become part of those visual factors to consider. But I'll end this photographic chatter here and get to the photos, which is what we all love here and what I most enjoy sharing with you on #Hive...

As you can see, there's a lot going on in each forum, and I've given titles to all of them, and I understand them all because they're happening in my streets, and wandering around looking at the town is a bit like "seeing myself" happening...

Two days ago at around 4pm, or 5pm, fog showed up here. I was so excited but angry too but I think I was more angry than excited 😆
Imagine we have fog once or twice a year for a few hours and it arrives when it's getting dark. Ugh!!! It was gone till morning, so no fog photos ☹️
Whenever I look at your street photos, the first impression I get is that life is "slow". Am I right on this?
Fog once or twice a year! 😕... Good heavens!... Well, in my country there are a lot of places like that with very sporadic fog. In fact, my town has a very particular geography that makes fog frequent, but that's not the case in all the surrounding towns!... I hope the fog's "next visit" for you is during daylight hours! 😀🙏... And yes, @erikah friend, in aprox. 80% of my town's urban area, life goes on just as you see it in many of my street photos, "very slow and calm"... Obviously, there's an area with shops, workshops, and even the high school and some elementary schools, where you're more likely to see activity, but it's just a handful of very limited blocks... Until about 25 years ago, we had an industrial zone with a shoe factory, another factory that made pipes and agricultural irrigation equipment, an auto parts factory, and several citrus processing plants and refrigerated storage facilities, so that made the town different, more dynamic. But with the arrival of the economic crisis, everything went bankrupt, and some of the abandoned buildings are now illegally occupied, making it a somewhat dangerous place. A sort of "dystopian satellite town" on the west side of town, where, to be honest, I wouldn't dare go with a camera in hand 😐... And it's a real shame, because there are plenty of things to photograph there, for sure!... Thank you for your comment, your visit, and your appreciation of my work. Have happy holidays, dear and talented friend!...
