FEBRUARY FERNS... (PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES)

Tcats.jpg

When an unexpected downpour occurs in February, especially when it happens at night or in the early morning, it is possible to see the leaves of young ferns emerging from the rhizomes that had been stripped of their leaves until then. It can happen so quickly that you almost see the fronds unfurling before your eyes. And if there's still moisture on the newly growing fronds, the spectacle is even more breathtaking. Those vibrant, bright greens, adorned with tiny liquid crystals like pendants, provide the kind of photographs I truly love to take. And that's precisely what these photos I've brought to share with you today on #Hive are: fern fronds evolving on a morning after an unexpected and untimely downpour, as we're only in the first third of the long dry season...

Wow! I love the concept of this macro photography, looking so clean!
The fern looks beautiful in all angles, starting from the unfolded fern to the one that spread out, that's a beautiful pattern. The tiny water droplets makes it look more unique, nature is deeply rooted in this shots.

Rainfall after a long dry season is quite refreshing and at the same time breathing life to those leaves. It's nice to be around, have a great day 🤗

Thanks for appreciatting and supporting @yusmelys!!!! Yes, well, my old Nikon D7000 and the old Tokina macro 100mm lens I used for these photos have been with me for over 14 years, I think. But the three of us "know each other very well" 😄 and we usually continue to do a good job despite our age and ailments! 😂
