Today we woke up here in my town having a bright morning with clear skies and a pleasant temperature of 22°C... My breakfast was slightly affected by my wife and youngest daughter's comments regarding the pile of news that is (once again) putting our country on the front page of the international media. I tried to avoid conversations on this topic by talking about our pets, and that worked. But as soon as I arrived at my mother's house to say good morning (our houses are connected via backyards) my mother immediately did the same and literally "bombarded" me with a ton of news information... So I decided to take my camera and go out for a bit of a wander around the neighborhood streets, trying to avoid the understandable tendency of everyone at home to talk about the news... And wow!.. Hoy despertamos aquí en mi pueblo teniendo una luminosa mañana de cielos despejados y una agradable temperatura de 22°C... Mi desayuno se vio ligeramente afectado por los comentarios de mi esposa y mi hija menor relativos al montón de noticias que ponen (nuevamente) a nuestro país en primera plana de los medios internacionales. Procuré evadir las conversaciones sobre este tema hablando sobre nuestras mascotas y eso resultó. Pero apenas llegué a casa de mi madre para darle los buenos día (nuestras casas se comunican a través de patios interiores) mi madre inmediatamente hizo otro tanto y literalmente me "bombardeó" con un montón de información noticiosa... Así que decidí tomar mi cámara y salir a deambular un poco por las calles del vecindario, procurando evadir la comprensible tendencia de todos en casa, de hablar sobre noticias... ¡Y vaya que si tuve una caminata productiva fotográficamente hablando!... I decided to wander through the streets that I know are the most humble, those where people are less inclined to worry about the news that may be happening, those streets where people's attention is focused on having a good time talking, getting their sustenance for the day and even gossiping a little about the things that the people of the town do 😂... In these spaces it is easy for me to feel that time passes pleasantly and I always have the opportunity to take good photos in the middle of some clear and uncomplicated conversation, with people whom I generally know forever... This is my daily catharsis and I love doing this! 😀

Decidí deambular por las calles que sé más humildes, esas en donde las personas son menos proclives a preocuparse por las noticias que puedan estar ocurriendo, esas calles en donde la atención de las personas se centra en pasar un buen rato conversando, procurarse el sustento del día e incluso chismorrear un poco sobre las cosas que hacen las personas del pueblo 😂... En estos espacios es fácil para mi sentir que el tiempo pasa de manera agradable y siempre tengo la oportunidad de hacer buenas fotos en medio de alguna conversación diáfana y descomplicada, con personas a las cuales generalmente conozco desde siempre... ¡Esta es mi catarsis cotidiana y amo hacer esto! 😀

Well, I think it goes without saying that going out into the streets to take pictures was - as it always is - a very effective way of avoiding the very understandable anxiety of the people around me (especially my family) of immersing themselves in comments about the piles of news related to our nation, which appear these days in practically any media you see... In reality, I understand everyone, but at this point in my life, so much information of this type ends up overwhelming me, so I try to avoid it as best I can...

Y bien, creo que está de más decir que el hecho de irme a las calles a hacer fotografías, fue -tal como siempre lo es- algo muy efectivo para evadir la muy comprensible ansiedad de las personas a mi alrededor (especialmente los de mi familia) de sumergirse en comentarios relativos al montón de noticias relacionadas con nuetra nación, las cuales aparecen estos días en prácticamente cualquier medio que se vea... En realidad entiendo a todos, pero a estas alturas de mi vida, tanta información de este tipo termina por agobiarme, así que procuro evitarlo lo mejor que puedo...
