December is almost over, and I can say that this has been a month full of landscape photography for me. Whether it's because of all the hiking in the mountains or in the rural areas around town, or because of the very favorable weather and light conditions we've had lately, the truth is I have a ton of landscape images waiting to be processed and edited so I can share them with you here on #Hive... So please, keep reading and enjoy!

Diciembre casi termina y puedo decir que este fue un mes repleto de fotografías de paisajes para mi. Ya sea por el hecho de haber muchas caminatas en las montañas o hacia los predios rurales alrededor del pueblo, o por las muy propicias condiciones atmosféricas y lumínicas de estos días; lo cierto es que tengo un montón de imágenes de paisajes esperando ser procesados y editados para ser posteriormente compartidas con ustedes aquí en #Hive... Así que, por favor, continúen adelante en esta publicación y disfruten de esto...

The time of day, the light, the colors; everything can vary from day to day, or even from moment to moment... So these landscapes each have a very distinct character. This also allows me to experiment with processing and editing in diverse and sometimes even whimsical ways. I also tried to give this series a touch of uniformity by selecting only horizontal images with a rectangular 6:4 aspect ratio and a nice white frame to highlight each photo.

Las horas, la luminosidad, los colores; todo puede variar de un día al otro, o incluso de un momento a otro... Así que estos paisajes tienen carácter muy distinto entre sí. Además, esto hace que yo pueda dedicarme a experimentar con el procesado y la edición, de maneras diversas e incluso, algunas veces, caprichosas... También procuré dar un toque de uniformidad a este serie seleccionando únicamente imágenes horizontales de proporción 6:4 rectangular y un bonito enmarcado en blanco para resaltar cada foto...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
