In the diminutiveness of nature one comes to experience a very pleasant kind of isolation... It is, at times, something like a retraction of the senses and all our sensory capacity concentrating on a regularly small object, full of lights and forms which build it up and make it appear before us... And this may sound like an idealized and romantic vision to the extreme of things like stems, flowers, leaves and ears of corn. But, it is enough to try it once, to spend a few minutes observing the little things happening there like miracles, and then you come to understand it...

En lo diminuto de la naturaleza se llega a a experimentar un tipo de aislamiento muy agradable... Se trata, en ocasiones, de algo como un retrotraerse de los sentidos y toda nuestra capacidad sensitiva concentrándose en un objeto regularmente pequeño, repleto de luces y formas las cuales lo construyen y lo hacen aparecer ante nosotros... Y esta puede sonar como una visión idealizada y romántica al extremo de cosas como tallos, flores, hojas y espigas. Pero, basta con intentarlo una vez, dedicar unos minutos a observar las pequeñas cosas allí ocurriendo allí como milagros, y entonces se llega a comprender así...

I put names and surnames to all these photos, because by immersing myself in nature I become a bit of a fabulator, a poet of doubtful talent but with some humor, or perhaps a child who enjoys looking and thinking, immersed in the little he knows, but amazed by how much he observes... And looking at these black and white photos makes me go through them again, and looking at their shapes without being distracted by the colors, makes me understand them even more and reflect myself a little in them... Yes, that's why I love to give titles to these photos, or “names and surnames” as I like to say in my Monday morning deliriums...

Yo le coloco nombres y apellidos a todas estas fotos, porque al sumergirme en la naturaleza me transformo un poco en un fabulador, en un poeta de talento dudoso pero con algo de humor, o quizás en un niño que se divierte mirando y pensando, embebido en lo poco que conoce, pero maravillado de lo mucho que observa... Y mirar estas fotos en blanco y negro me hace recorrerlas de nuevo, y mirar sus formas sin que los colores me distraigan, me hace entenderlas aún más y reflejarme un poco en ellas... Sí, por todo eso amo ponerles títulos a estas fotos, o "nombres y apellidos" como me gusta decir en mis delirios de mañana de Lunes...

Minimalism and abstraction embrace each other almost furtively in the small details hidden at the edge of the roads... Both are engaged in a dance often interrupted by the lights and the wind... They are like an imperceptible showcase for those who go carelessly... A cornucopia of tiny miracles hidden for those who do not have the faith of the curious at heart...

Minimalismo y abstracción se abrazan casi furtivos en los pequeños detalles escondidos a las orillas delos caminos... Ambos se enfrascan en una danza interrumpida con frecuencia por las luces y el viento... Son como un mostrario imperceptible para los que van descuidados... Una cornucopia de milagros pequeñitos ocultos para que no tienen la Fe de los curiosos de corazón...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
