Sometimes it's just a matter of taking the camera, breathing deeply and going for an early morning walk....

Algunas veces se trata solo de tomar la cámara, respirar hondo y salir a caminar temprano...

These are strange days, the weather has become unpredictable and the rains occur almost daily followed by very high heat... So, that means only one thing: "Morning fogs".

Son días extraños, el tiempo se ha vuelto impredecible y las lluvias ocurren casi a diario seguidas de un calor muy alto... Entonces, eso quiere decir solo una cosa: "Nieblas mañaneras"

Then it happens that everything looks different and the photographs seem to "pounce on me" in an abrupt, almost astonishing way, I would say. Such is the case that I find it difficult to decide what to photograph and sometimes I just stop to look and let the pictures escape.

Entonces ocurre que, todo se ve distinto y las fotografías parecen "abalanzarse sobre mi " de manera abrupta, casi que asombrosa diría yo. Tal es el caso que me cuesta decidir que cosa fotografiar y a veces me detengo simplemente a mirar y dejo escapar las fotos.

Meter after meter walked, the environment gives me a new image to shoot towards. Then, as this happens, I mentally add rather strange titles to some of these scenes (you can see them at the bottom of each photo on the left-hand side).

Metro tras metro recorrido, el entorno regala una nueva imagen hacia la cual disparar. Entonces, al mismo ritmo que esto sucede, yo voy colocando mentalmente títulos bastante extraños a algunas de esas escenas (pueden observarlos al pie de cada foto en el lado izquierdo).

The fog gives me confidence and at the same time a certain feeling of "walking around hidden". Then I often speak out loud in my solitude, as if I were some kind of demented person wrapped in mist.

La niebla me provee confianza y al mismo tiempo esa cierta sensación de "andar por allí oculto". Entonces suelo hablar en mi soledad en voz alta, como si de algún tipo de demente envuelto en neblinas se tratase.

The few people who pass close by, usually fall silent when they observe my silhouette in the fog and in frank conversation "with nobody". That is always funny and I usually add another "touch of mystery" by changing direction and moving away to avoid being recognised, leaving them there with their curiosity intact and unsatisfied.

Las pocas personas que pasan cerca, suelen hacer silencio cuando observan mi silueta en la niebla y en franca conversación "con nadie". Eso siempre es gracioso y suelo agregar otro "toque de misterio" cambiando de dirección y alejándome para evitar ser reconocido, dejándolas allí con su curiosidad intacta e insatisfecha.

As I told you, it is a dense fog that fills every corner with eloquent and complex photographs, always available for "The Madman with the camera in his hand" to pass by and steal them in time.

Como les dije, es una niebla densa que llena todos los rincones con fotografías elocuentes y complejas, siempre disponible para que "El loco con la cámara en la mano" pase por allí y se las robe al tiempo.

The fog begins its long farewell at mid-morning, but in its outburst it leaves behind humidity and countless invented stories, some sad, some grey and almost none cheerful.

La niebla comienza su larga despedida a media mañana, pero en su arrebato deja atrás humedad y un sinfín de historias inventadas, algunas tristes, otras grises y casi ninguna alegre.
