The imperfections of the world makes it near perfect

Society is constantly ravaged with threats of insecurity, and borders are essential to drawing boundaries. A fence is built not only for the purpose of boundaries but also to wade off visitors that are not welcome. Every household has developed the habit of locking one's doors and sometimes confirming that those doors are locked. This is simply the result of the insecurity perpetrated by criminals. There are also locations that are unsafe to walk through as a result of fears and insecurities. On other occasions, time is considered, as there are places that should not be visited at specific hours. All these and many more, especially in Nigeria, are forms of insecurity that push the average citizen to observe strict security measures to protect lives and properties.

If the world, however, were safe to voyage, one where there is no fear of attack or violence, I'd love to experience such moments. I'm sure I would be lackadaisical and free-living like a bird. I'll probably be the type to not even have doors in my house unless for the sake of privacy. Also, I love to walk around at every hour of the day, and even if it's nightfall, I do not mind. Probably because of my profession, I drive in the middle of the night. Recently, I tried to get home early as I had an incident with a faulty car at night, which destabilized me, cautioning me to return home early enough.

I've lived all my life in Nigeria and visited a good number of states. I've only seen some cultures and traditions on social media. I have desired some vacations in the Maldives, for example. If the earth has no borders, I'll likely want to tour as many places as possible; hopefully there will be accompanying resources. Nothing beats seeing some places physically and breathing in that different scent and air.

I'm already one to move at night where there's need. Though it might not be too welcoming, I may be found staying out late and perhaps spending days or weeks unplanned at locations that interest me.
Unfortunately, where there is no law, there is no crime. And where there are no borders, the earth would be in disarray, as many people like me would travel for flimsy reasons.

I believe I could wake up and leave for an interesting place, or perhaps stay out late with my friends, gisting and wasting away time. Such a life would probably give me the avenue to engage in the farming business I have a passion for. It will be interesting to farm acres of land without fear of insecurity.

However, can such a world exist? I believe these vices actually help to keep us in check, even though the insecurities are choking and scary. The imperfections in the world actually bring sanity and stability to society. Humanity has over time been discovered to be difficult to control, and perhaps limitations as such do keep us in check. I would not want to live in a perfect world. There would be no room or need for exploration, and life may just be a repetition of every day, which is kind of boring.

And yeah, today's #hpud, and even though I do not have much to power up, it's a habit I have inculcated to help build my hive token.

Thank you for reading. I would love to have your comments and contributions.

Seeing from your perspective boss, you are so right. A perfect world would be a repetition and that would surely be boring.
