Discoverd prickly poppies on my way home

Last Friday, while I was walking home from the railway station, I saw this beautiful flower on the side of the road. i am seeing this flower after a long time. As far as I recall, I last saw it around a year ago. That time, I noticed a lot of flowers in the abandoned place between the loco shed and diesel locomotive workshop near our colony.

I found this flower in our colony again. Maybe this flowering plants grow well in the hard soil. Because I discovered them near railroad tracks, where the soil is hard.

This flower has soft petals, and the middle section resembles another small flower on it.

The leaves of these flowering plants are green and not smooth. The name indicates that the plant is prickly. But however the leaves are the flowers are so beautiful to watch. So I like to meet this flower again and again. This yellow flower brings me peace in my eyes, but I try to be careful when photographing it because it is prickly and can be toxic.
