For week 336, I chose Endless Gibbon! 🐒

Art Process

• sketch and lineart

I looked for a reference that is somewhat in human proportion. I do not often draw animals, but monkeys and humans have similar proportions.

This card reminds me of our neighbor's pet monkey. 😆 Not a Gibbon though, but it would scream a lot when provoked. I did not dare to go near the monkey because of those scary teeth. 😆

• base color and shading

I used an airbrush and blend for the shading.

Intensify the shading by using a harder airbrush. I used a blending brush for the hard edges.

Final Art

Finally, I chose a blue background and a glow in the back.

Finished art! ✨
