The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening | It was but a ☁️ Dream! ☁
This game was first released in 1993, a time when I was not yet alive but then thankfully Nintendo remade the game but now in Switch version! happy noise 🥳
My first impression on just by the game's looks is it was so different from the first version. Of course, the technology we have right now versus three decades ago is very different. However, they kept the content of the game. The same house, grass, elements, story, and even the dialogues were almost the same!
I found a YouTube video comparing the versions side by side and I was amazed that Nintendo committed to sticking to the original storyline. I watched the video after playing the whole game to avoid spoiling myself. 😜

I never thought of stealing but it was a funny reaction from the owner, haha! I saw this trick from a reel and tried to do it, and it works! 😃

I can say that the first dungeon was the hardest for me because everything was new to the eyes.

I cheated more than 10 times in the game! BUT~~~
It was just a peek! so half-cheated, HAHA.😁
When I have a gut feeling that it is the answer to the puzzle, and I have to double-check in Google and I always get it.
Aghhh...shame shame... I cheated here more than in BOTW and TOTK combined. 🥲

It was probably because this game has a 1 to 1 answer to a problem. Unlike in BOTW and TOTK, there were multiple ways to solve the problem.
Also, Link's Awakening is not that big of a world and inventory, so solving the problem was harder for me, or plainly sometimes I was just freaking dumb, HAHA. The answer was just in front of my eyes and I am a freaking blind mouse. 😆

I enjoyed much of this feature in the game. I can create my own dungeon by placing the chambers in whichever direction or path I want.
My time spent here was huge. 😁 My creativity was pumping, haha! I like designing and connecting the chamber, then I am gonna play it. It was satisfying!
Marin was the character that had a significant role in the storyline and seemed like she had a crush on Link.
😆 Why is she being shy??
But then Marin has this voice. It was beautiful and soothing. It was the ballad to wake up the wind fish. And it was the only way to escape this dream.
This cut scene was so cute 🥺
Marin said she never saw the world and one day she wanted to become a seagull to get away from this island...

To be honest, I felt bad and sad when the final cut scene was playing. Since this was ALL BUT A DREAM, everything on the island will disappear including Marin and the people. 🥺

I recommend this game if you like puzzles and dungeons. Some puzzles were really challenging they squeezed my two brain cells. 😆 Easy navigation and a simple storyline- I can be your first Zelda game too!
Overall, I will rate the game 9.5/10! ✨👏🏻😊
Maybe I will play this game again after 5 years and still like it!

What a beautiful game, I wish all remakes of the classic The Legend of Zelda have this visual quality (if they ever do it).
I wish they have the remake of a Link to the Past and Minish Cap. That would be cool! 😁

The game design at first glance looks very well done, the animated details are very nice and draw a lot of attention, you could say that they remastered the game and adapted it to this console.

I have really great memories with this remake as I played it along with one of my nieces which was plenty of fun. I love the Zelda Series with Breath of the Wild as one of my favorite games of all time. Still need to play Tears of the kingdom but not sure where I will find the time for it.

I absolutely loved this game and my only real complaint was that it was so short. Nintendo knows that they can get away with charging full price even for a remake of a game but even with that being the case this game was just fantastic. I love the old-school mechanics with modern-day graphics and sound and there are a lot of other games I wish they would remake with Zelda as well. I would imagine they will eventually remake all of them.
I wish it was longer too! I finished the game under 35 hours gameplay, but it was a nice storyline. 😁
