Street light

Today,we see national high ways installed with street lights whether electric supplied or solar pannel. Recently, we have a project on Street light. A total of thirteen solar pannel and ten electric supplied. The approved budget contract is Three Hundred Fifty Thousand pesos. Since it was a government project so, it was through a competitive public bidding and we won as single responsive bidder. I want to share some insight about bidding. First, you are eligible and responsive in all requirements. Bidding documents such technical and financial shall be compiled and book binded. It shall be submitted to the Bids and Awards Committee Office in a sealed envelope. Then it must be submitted on time. The Technical Working Group( TWG) will examine, verify all pages and informations in every page of the bidding dox. If you fail even one item, it will be conaidered "failed"
Well, during implementation, weekly inspection or spot check will be randomly conducted by the TWG of the Project owner to ensure compliance of the contractor on the program of work.

Did you know, that 70% of the Approved budget comtract will proceed to labor, materials and equipment? And, the 30% is for the indirect cost such the Overhead, Contingency and Maintenance (OCM) which is 15% of ABC, 10% of the Contractors percentage 5% is for VAT and 2% is for EWT.
