Calmness & Safe Place
Last Saturday, we went to our favorate beach resort at Caba, La Union to finally celebrate special day of the birthday celebrants. It was planned last July 27 but due to unfavorable weather condition, we choose to cancel our reservation and reschedules it and then cancelled again due to Typhoon Carina.
Well, while we were in the beach, The life guard changed the red flag into green flag. I thought at first, it was a color code for the day but I noticed the Bulletin near entrance going to the beach about low and high tide. in the previous month we went, their is no signages like that before.
So, I went to the seashore and I am amazed that it was so calm and the water is below the knee. So my children enjoy playing and I am not worried because the sea is so calm.
But in the next day, I noticed that the flag is yellow and the guard said high tide so I went to see it and the water is around 4 ft deep and the waves are mild strong than usual.
Green symbolizes safety. And when you feel safe, you will have a peaceful mind.
The Realization
In life, we have our own high tide and low tide. Our low tide is our safe place while high tide are events/ factors/ circumstances that disturb and manipulate calmness.
Let me ask you, What is your safe place? How? Why?
For me, safe place is where we feel safe and nobody can harm us. My safe place is our home because, I know that I am in my own territory that nobody will hurt me.And I have my own space that I can do whatever I want that help me think and process those things that disturbing my mind and soul.

Life is similar to the beach, sometimes safe and the other day is not. But home is safe place indeed :)
trueness
Lifeguards are doing such a good work for doing such. It would help a lot if people are aware of the hazards of the sea.
