Viaje al otro extremo del País || Journey to the other end of the country

Hace unos días tuvimos una invitación para participar del lanzamiento de un mega desarrollo, el único detalle es que se realizaría a mas de 300 km de distancia.

A few days ago we received an invitation to participate in the launch of a mega development, the only detail is that it would be carried out more than 300 km away.

El viaje ha iniciado mucho antes de lo esperado, nos informaron de la invitación de la presentación apenas un día antes. Al momento mi respuesta ha sido un rotundo si, ese mismo día me dispuse a realizar un servicio a mi vehículo ya que en este viajaríamos.

The trip started much earlier than expected. We were informed of the presentation invitation just a day before. My immediate response was a resounding yes. That same day, I arranged to have my vehicle serviced, as we would be traveling in it.

Ya para la madrigada del día siguiente, despues de preparar todo iniciamos el viaje a las 04:30 am. en principio el sol aún no asomaba, ya para las 06:00 podíamos divisar una gran tormenta y hacia esa dirección nos dirigíamos, una hora mas tarde, después de desayunar, ya entremos en una gran tormenta, eso no afectó en nada el viaje, solo un poco de disminución de la velocidad por la visibilidad reducida.

By dawn the next day, after preparing everything, we started the trip at 4:30 a.m. At first, the sun hadn't risen yet, but by 6:00 a.m. we could see a large storm and we were heading in that direction. An hour later, after breakfast, we entered a large storm. This didn't affect the trip at all, just a slight decrease in speed due to reduced visibility.

Ya casi a una hora del destino, nos estacionamos en una estación de servicio para realizar unas compras y cambiarnos de atuendo, la lluvia era imparable, pero al momento de continuar el viaje, el auto no arrancaba, todo indicaba que la batería había culminado su vida útil, después de intentar algunas cosas pedí ayuda al playero de la estación de servicio para hacer puente con su vehículo, inmediatamente mi auto arrancó y continuamos viaje, para ese momento yo ya estaba todo mojas, sobretodo mis pies.

Almost an hour from our destination, we parked at a gas station to do some shopping and change our clothes. The rain was relentless, but when we continued our trip, the car wouldn't start. Everything indicated that the battery had reached the end of its useful life. After trying a few things, I asked the gas station attendant for help to jump-start his vehicle. My car immediately started and we continued our trip. By then, I was already all wet, especially my feet.

Llegamos al evento, logré cambiarme de ropa y participamos de la presentación normalmente, quedamos realmente sorprendidos de la magnitud del desarrollo, una cuidad privada de mas de 1.600 hectáreas de las cuales ya habían sido vendidas la mayoría de las propiedades ubicadas en la isla.

We arrived at the event, I managed to change my clothes, and we participated in the presentation as usual. We were truly surprised by the magnitude of the development, a private city of more than 1,600 hectares, of which most of the properties located on the island had already been sold.

Al finalizar el evento, subimos al auto y nuevamente NO ARRANCó, allí esperamos la ayuda de una persona para hacer nuevamente puente en la batería, arrancó e iniciamos viaje, pero esta vez para cambiar la batería, al terminar con esto dispusimos a almorzar y retornar al este del país regresando casi a las 22:00 hs, hemos vivido un gran viaje, una gran experiencia y una aventura mas con muchísimos detalles.

At the end of the event, we got into the car and again it WOULD NOT START, there we waited for someone to help us jump-start the battery again, it started and we began the trip, but this time to change the battery, when this was over we arranged to have lunch and return to the east of the country, returning at almost 10:00 p.m. We had a great trip, a great experience and another adventure with many details.
