La excusa para una reunión... || The excuse for a meeting...

El título de esta publicación ya lo dice todo, usualmente tenemos excusas para cualquier cosa, para no hacer alguna actividad, para faltar al colegio, para una ausencia en el trabajo y mucho más, también tenemos excusas para juntarnos con amigos y compartir algo como una charla o un gran asado.

The title of this post says it all. We usually have excuses for anything: to skip an activity, to skip school, for an absence from work, and much more. We also have excuses to get together with friends and share something like a chat or a great barbecue.

Por la tarde ya casi finalizando la jornada laboral uno de nuestros compañeros y son la siguiente pregunta en el grupo "¿y si nos juntamos con un asadito?", Esto significa ¿qué tal si hoy nos reunimos y aprovechamos a comer todos juntos un asado compartiendo un buen momento?. Después alguien volvió hacer otra pregunta: ¿y si nos juntamos?, A lo que alguien hace otra pregunta ¿estira un asado?. Inmediatamente en apenas 10 minutos ya se organizó todo alguien dijo: vamos a la casa de John y Eli, y hacemos asado ahí, esto significa que seleccionaron nuestra casa para comer un rico asado y juntarnos. El acto siguiente consistió en asignar al comprador de la carne y bebida: "Alguien dijo de ir a su casa pueden pasar por el supermercado comprar todo lo que necesitamos y luego dividimos la cuenta" en un par de minutos ya teníamos absolutamente todo organizado, lo hicimos según el plan designado.

In the afternoon, as the workday was almost over, one of our colleagues asked the next question in the group, "What if we get together for an asado?" This means, "What if we get together today and take advantage of the opportunity to have a barbecue together and share a good time?" Then someone asked another question: "What if we get together?" To which someone asked another question: "Would you like to have an asado?" Immediately, in just 10 minutes, everything was organized. Someone said, "Let's go to John and Eli's house and have a barbecue there." This means they chose our house to eat a delicious barbecue and get together. The next step was to assign the buyer for the meat and drinks: "Someone said that if we were going home, we could stop by the supermarket to buy everything we need, and then we'll split the bill." In a couple of minutes, we had absolutely everything organized; we did it according to the designated plan.

Salimos de la ofi pasamos por el supermercado compramos todo lo que necesitamos y luego directo a casa, allí mi tarea principal consistió en preparar el fuego y preparar la carne, esta foto es apenas llegando de la oficina habiendo puesto el fuego limpiando la parrilla y haber colocado la carne y los chorizos al fuego, recién iniciando el asado.

We left the office, stopped by the supermarket, bought everything we needed, and then went straight home. There, my main task was to prepare the fire and prepare the meat. This photo is of me just getting home from the office, having lit the fire, cleaned the grill, and placed the meat and chorizos on the fire, just starting the grill.

Quizás hubiese estado bueno tomar fotografías de los momentos en que estábamos conversando compartiendo diferentes temas, comiendo la salud y disfrutando de la rica carne, o muchas otras fotos más, pero la verdad es que ni se me ocurrió seguir sacando fotos ya que estábamos disfrutando el momento entre comida muchas conversaciones.

Maybe it would have been nice to take photos of the moments when we were talking, sharing different topics, eating healthy food, and enjoying the delicious meat, or many other photos, but the truth is, it didn't even occur to me to continue taking photos since we were enjoying the moment between food and conversation.

Esto está bueno porque tenemos la capacidad de crear estos momentos memorables entre amigos y compañeros, lo interesante de todo esto es que usualmente los problemas, las excusas negativas y mucho más se generan y se propagan rápidamente, en este caso nosotros hemos hecho lo mismo con algo muy bueno, que simplemente consistió en reunirnos y compartir un buen momento. ¿tú lo haces de la misma forma con tu grupo de amigos o lo haces diferente?.

This is good because we have the ability to create these memorable moments among friends and colleagues. The interesting thing about all this is that problems, negative excuses, and much more usually arise and spread quickly. In this case, we did the same with something very good, which simply consisted of getting together and sharing a good time.
