Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: Quora Towershead's Immunity allows it to ignore cripple

Splinterlands is a pretty complicated game with interesting battles with all the options available. This is a part of the weekly social media challenge for Splinterlands. This week is about a great fight where I won because of Quora.

Featured cards

Quora Towershead is a earth splinter that costs 10 mana. It starts off with the bloodlust ability and heal. As it levels up, it gains the immunity ability at level 3 and dispel at level 5. I have this card at level 4 so it has up to immunity. I like using this card because of how powerful it is when the bloodlust stacks.

Rule set, Battle and Plan

The ruleset this time is Tis But Scratches, Taking Sides, and Manueavers. This means that no neutral cards can be used, and all monsters gain the reach and cripple ability. There are 34 mana available and I am left with the choice of fire, earth, life, or dragon splinter.

Helios Matriarch is my summoner for its +1 speed and access to a gladiator. Pelacor Mercenary is my tank with flying and heal. After that is Vruz with martyr. I have Quora after as my damage dealer and the martyr monsters will buff Quora if they die. My 5th monster is Queen Mycelia with protect and my last monster is Naga Assassin with backfire for any sneak monsters.

Round 1

round 1.png
At first glance, I think that I have the advantage. My opponent does have more healers but with the ruleset, cripple will slowly reduce the maximum health of my opponent's Quora while my Quora will be fine. The only issue is whether or not my Quora will survive long enough if my opponent stacks more bloodlust than me.

Round 3

round 3.png
Both me and my opponent lost two monsters, but my opponent had stacked bloodlust while I had not. The only buff to my Quora is a single martyr. At this point, I think that I have the advantage because I have 4 monsters crippling my opponent. I don't think my opponent will kill me fast enough. It's just a matter of who's Quora dies first to decide the winner.

conclusion.png
I won this match a few rounds later as I expected. My Quora was able to survive and I was able to kill off my opponent's once enough cripple attacks landed.

Conclusion

The battle this time around went as I expected. Quora Towershead was a great monster to use and the immunity removed any worries about the cripple from the ruleset. It worked against my opponent because his Quora's maximum health kept dropping and this allowed me to kill it despite all the healers that my opponent had.

You can see my entire match here.

in rules, every card resurrects once with max armor. for this rule, do you have any preferred line ups. if match is with low mana cap like 18-26
or high mana cap say 58.

this rule disturbed my line up most of the time. if you have any matches, do share links. would like to watch

I would consider a card such as Captain Katie with bloodlust and snipe as a magic monster. I think it's tough ruleset to fight against.

Yea it stops cripple so it becomes more useful in these matches.

I don't think the Quora's immunity really did anything, I just think that you you were opportuned to have more misses on your Quora than your opponent, plus, the first card you, have some decent tank that helped a lot

I think I still had a solid win, but I think immunity is still useful. My Quora did get hit a few times before it healed up and if I had lower health, it would have healed less. It could have been dangerous otherwise.
