Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: Lady Amara is a great tank in Foundational battles in Keep Your Distance

Splinterlands is a pretty complicated game with interesting battles, with all the options available. This is a part of the weekly social media challenge for Splinterlands. This week is about a great fight where I won because I used Lady Amara.
Featured cards

Lady Amara is a light splinter that costs 6 mana. This card no abilities, but it does gain higher stats as you level up this card.
This is a card that I found myself using more in Foundational battles. It is slow, but the high health makes it work well as a backup tank so that the rest of my ranged damage dealers can continue to deal damage.
Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Aimless and Keep Your Distance. This means that no melee monsters can be used, and all monsters gain the scattershot ability. There is also 31 mana available, and I can use fire, life, death splinter.
This is an interesting match because we are limited in the cards we can use. At the same time, the aimless ruleset makes luck a factor because we can't be sure where the attacks will land. So even with the better setup, there is a chance that you can lose.
| Splinter | Mana Cost | Position | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Incessant Sage | 6 | Summoner | +1 Armor |
| Codex Sage | 4 | 1st | Void Armor |
| Lady Amara | 6 | 2nd | |
| Hungry Ulund | 5 | 3rd | |
| Wild Horse Tamer | 6 | 4th | |
| Grand Consul Minion | 4 | 5th | |
| Total Mana: | 31 |
My summoner is Incessant Sage for its +1 armor. My tank is Codex Sage with void armor. Lady Amara is my backup tank. The rest of my lineup is filled with ranged monsters who don't have any abilities. I used whatever I could for damage up to the mana cap.
The focus of this lineup is to keep my ranged monsters away from the first spot in the lineup. This is because they can't attack from that position. Lady Amara and Codex Sage are the shields. At the same time, my archon adds one armor, so the ranged monsters are less likely to kill off my monsters, and the biggest threat would be the magic monsters. The good thing is that there is no ocean, so the number of magic monsters available is lower than usual.
Round 1

At first glance, I think that this match can still go either way. My opponent only has one magic monster, but the combination of weaken and -1 health makes it possible for that magic monster to kill off my ranged monsters. The rest would be based on luck, though.
Round 5

My opponent is down to two monsters left, and each one has 1 health left. On the other hand, I am still left with two ranged monsters that have a higher speed than my opponent. I won't miss any of my attacks, and I will move faster than him, so this is my win.

I won that match later that round.
Conclusion
The battle this time went exactly as planned, but it was close. Lady Amara worked well as a backup tank, and it let my ranged damage dealers continue to deal damage. In the end, this match did come down to luck, but I am glad that I did use Lady Amara as a backup tank. It's a great addition to the lineup due to its fairly decent health in Frontier, and I have found myself using it more often in matches. I don't think there are any bad cards, and it just depends on how you use them.
You can see my entire match here.
What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

I think it depends, but water wasn't available in this match.

It's a nice card once you get used to it.
Agree, I would love to collect that card
The durability of Lady Amara was demonstrated at the later part of the match
