Splinterlands 29th Season of Glint, Merits and SPS
The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. After the free season of Wild ended, I went back to the modern format. It was rough as I lost quite a few matches, and life got busy. So I didn't get as many fights as I would have liked in the previous season.
Season Rewards
I ended up with 6,964 Glint for last season, which is far less than what I was getting before. The biggest factor was that I couldn't play as mucha s I would like, but I also couldn't move up much in terms of my points. I felt that I was stick in Silver I the entire time.
Unfortunately, after checking through my reward history, I didn't advance any leagues last season. So my worries about that were confirmed. I should start lower this season, so I might be able to collect some chests this season though. I am not sure how things will go because my deck hasn't been the most powerful.
This season, I got the above from using my glint. I didn't earn that much glint, so I went with just 2 epic cards this time around.
Gladius Packs
I have collected 4 packs since the last time I opened packs. The number of packs is lower than last time, and I didn't have much luck this time around. My recent brawls weren't so great, as my guild didn't place very well. After the changes to Conclave Arcana into modern, our rankings have dropped quite a bit, and I feel that there are fewer active players.
I was able to level up my Ajax Lightfoot to level 6. It has bloodlust to start. At level 4, it learns dodge and it also learns phase at level 7. Leveling this card gave it one more speed. I don't use this card very often because I don't have many summoners that can take advantage of its level, but this is a great card for being only 4 mana cost.
SPS
My SPS rewards were lower than last time. It was around what I expected because I didn't do so many ranked battles, and my brawls weren't as good as last time. Let's see how things change over time.
My pool reward for the season is 100.055 SPS. I plan on staking all of this along with all of my staking rewards, for a total of 226.04 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference.
Conclusion
I am still unable to use up all my energy every single day, and I earned less than the previous season. There wasn't much I could do as time was tight and I couldn't do enough fights. With brawls changed after the modern changes, I find myself earning less from brawls. I wonder where things will go, and maybe I still need to upgrade my own deck a bit.

I ended up with only 4000 glint too but it doesn't matter, I just play bronze and got all reward cards already
It's tough at bronze, but maybe you can get higher when the campaign mode releases some higher level cards.
Last season I almost got to silver 3 with just foundation cards so not bad afterall
The important thing is whether it was fun or not, after all it's just a game.
I had fun, but I kind of feel sad that I didn't have much time to play last season.
Nice one sticking with Modern format. Regardless of the game, the first few losses always sting like a bee. Life definitely gets in the way of grinding sometimes. Hope next season treats you better with more time to play bro
It's a grind, but I already knew it was an uphill battle after Chaos Legion got rotated out.

I was wondering if splinterlands made energy transferable or sellable, perhaps just for some glints or maybe SPS, it'll be great. Wasting energy can be painful, especially if you know that you can potentially use them to play and earn SPS.
I don't think that would work. It sounds like a horrible thing to do when people can make as many alt accounts as they want.
bro with that modern boost over 13x you should easy collect more glint I hope so that you find time to advance many divisions!
