Splinterlands 28th Season of Glint, Merits and SPS
The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I have moved to Wild League after the changes to Glint rewards and I have been liking it there. I was in Wild for the first time in a while so I started quite low and had to move up. It wasn't as hard this time around, and since its only a free wild season, I don't have to drop my rank again like usual because I plan on going back to modern after this. Either way, it was nice to fight in Wild and use a few cards that I haven't used in a long time.
Season Rewards
I ended up with 30,462 Glint for last season, which is more than I had in the previous season, and I also received a bonus leaderboard reward. It was a tough season, and I barely made it to Diamond II in the Wild League.
Above are my rewards from the league advancements. Just like last season, I am getting mainly common and rare cards, along with some merits. I did get 1 epic, but there were no legendary or gold foil cards.
This season, I got the above from using my glint. I decided to grab one legendary cards and three epic cards with my Glint. I don't think I have any copies of the legendary monster, and who knows when that 1 mana monster will be useful. The epic cards are duplicates, and I was able to level up the Thanalorian Blade card.
Gladius Packs
I have collected 8 packs since the last time I opened packs. The number of packs is lower than last time, and I did get a legendary card. Other than that, its the usual rare and common cards.
I was able to level up my Bertol Gobson to level 6. It has bloodlust and opportunity. At level 6, it learns poison. Leveling this card the poison ability so it makes it more useful in fights, but it also reduces its health by 1.
I was able to level up my Alva the Crusher to level 6. It has bloodlust and double strike. It learns void at level 2, dispel at level 3 and blast at level 4. Leveling this card gave it the void ability so it makes it more useful in fights.
SPS
My SPS rewards were lower than last time. The ranked rewards are down because Wild doesn't give as much SPS, and my brawl results weren't the best lately.
My pool reward for the season is 106.353 SPS. I plan on staking all of this along with all of my staking rewards, for a total of 240.358 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference.
Conclusion
I am still unable to use up all my energy every single day, and I earned less than the previous season. There wasn't much I could do as time was tight and I couldn't do enough fights in the free Wild Season. I didn't lose out on too much Glint compared to the previous season, and I wonder how well modern will go now for me.

I have start to play modern again, in case you don't know, foundation cards allow you to do so, there are some summoners too... You can keep up until bronze 1
Ah, I didn't know about the foundational cards but you wouldn't earn any SPS right?
You do if you have sps staked, i get 0,2 sps per win in bronze 1
Diamond II not bad bro! :)
It was a pretty good wild season, but its too bad the wild pass came back already.
Congratulations bro 👏

This seasons actually ended faster than the last …you didn’t so badly overall considering the time constraints you had.hopefully the next season will be better
Yea. It's too bad I wasn't able to take advantage of Wild more, but it was a good season either way.
You got into diamond 2? I finished in diamond 1 in wild, and I didn't get an extra SPS for finishing that high though. How come you earned 30k glint even though you you finished in Diamond 2?
I didn't play as much in this season. Time hurt, and I lost quite a bit going up. Lineups matter more given the card choices available.
