Rising Star Weekly Giveaway #138 and Overdosing Heavenly Bliss

Here is my weekly status and giveaway. As usual, I am just doing some missions at night because I am busy during the day. I was able to do some missions during the day during the week but not as often as I would like. It has been tough as I have been more or less focusing on chores around the house as the holidays are coming up. Work hasn't been that easy either as I have been quite busy. Please make sure to read the rules to qualify for the giveaway.

Overdosing Heavenly Bliss

Another busy week without much time to do much and I kind of stopped playing Rising Star as much either. So I decided to go with another one of my favorite tracks from the Kiseki (Trials) series. This time it is Overdosing Heavenly Bliss. I associate this track more with the character Kevin Graham. He is the main character in Trials in the Sky Third Chapter and his nickname is Heretic Hunter or Thousand-Hand Guardian. You can find out more about him here and the image is from that same site. Kevin is an interesting character because he is a special member of the Septian Church. I never really meshed well with him until I played through the 3rd Chapter because you get to understand his past then and it is there that he accepts his past and his own powers. Overdosing Heavenly Bliss is a boss track in the third chapter and it comes up as you learn more about his past.

My preferred version of this track is an arranged version of it from the Zanmai album. I think it's because they mix things up a bit so it's a little bit more calming.

Current Status

My earnings were about 28k this week and this was quite pitiful. It's just as bad as last week but at least I did show up a few times during the week. I opened 12 packs this week and I didn't get anything notable. It's been a busy week for me.

Current Stats

I got my stats and estimated collection value using the discord bot. I also saw a nice little bot to see my current collection value in Rising Star. Unfortunately, the bot seems to be down right now so I can't get my stats this week.

Current Ranking

I am at least ranked this week. I'll try better this week as I should be a little bit less busy as the holidays come by.

Tips (source)

I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.

1. Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
2. Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
3. Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
4. Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
5. If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
6. If you have more fans than skill and you won't reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
7. Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
8. Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards
9. Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
10. When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
11. Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.
