Rising Star End of Giveaway, Giveaway Winner and Resonance of Ray

Here is my weekly status and the last Rising Star Giveaway for now. Maybe I'll make one every now and then when I get a duplicate seasonal musician, but I feel that it's about time to stop them. I also talk about an OST track that I like. I chose a track from a game that I played in the past that I like.

Resonance of Ray

I chose Resonance of Ray track for this last giveaway because it's one of my newer tracks that I listened to in Trials through Daybreak. It's such a great track, and it plays during the final dungeon of the game. I have to say that this track makes it hard to rank my favorite last dungeon tracks in the Kiseki (Trials) series. I have to say this track definitely makes sense with the feeling of hope you get there. After all, the people in the Arkride Solutions Office decided to go after Van (the protagonist). I never got tired of this track, and I felt it was such a great thing to listen to as I went up the tower. There were so many plot twists going on, and I have to say that they did a great job with the story. There are two versions of this track, but I have to say that the original is the best version for me. The super ultimate version isn't bad, but it just doesn't appeal to me as much as it would be something you would find at a disco.

I think about the Genesis Tower when I listen to this track. The final dungeon is interesting, and I like the plot twists there. The final dungeon was such a blast to go through. It's too bad that only the core members could join, but I wouldn't have minded having some of the supporting characters join in on the dungeon. The image comes from the wiki page for Trials through Daybreak.

Do you like any of these tracks? If so, why?

Since we are ending the giveaway. I won't be tagging anyone except for the winner. My usual giveaway tool was not working so I used a different one that I found online.

Current Status

I didn't miss any millionaire missions, but things were hectic this week. I didn't do too many missions so I don't think I'll add up the starbits as I think I earned less than 100k this week. I did try to get my packs opened this week, but for some reason, the game isn't showing the starbits being deposited. So I guess I'll wait and see if that happens later tonight. The starbits were taken when I checked Hive Engine.

Current Ranking

My rank is down 1 ranks from last week. I did play a bit more but maybe some of the inactive people

I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.

  1. Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
  2. Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
  3. Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
  4. Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
  5. If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
  6. If you have more fans than skill and you won't reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
  7. Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
  8. Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards
  9. Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
  10. When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
  11. Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.

I'm sure you will find something else to post about on Sunday, it was fun while it lasted

It was fun while it lasted, but it gave me an idea. Rather than doing just Rising Star, I might talk about some games and lore/background they had. The trials story has been on my mind, and I wouldn't mind going into my ranking of the games, ranking of music tracks, or even characters that I liked.

Games in general. Probably more or less games that I played in the past as I haven't started too many new games.

You are welcome and it was nice while it lasted. I had fun when I started adding tracks to the giveaways even if it didn't seem like most people paid attention to them.

Congrats to the winner, I really enjoyed reading your thoughts on the soundtrack 'Resonance of Ray'. it sounds really special, especially with the way it hits during the game.

It's a very nice track. I like it quite a bit, and I tend to prefer the tracks from the earlier series quite a bit. However, this is from the most recent arc, and it was just great.
