RE: Longest shutdown in US history ended after 41 days. Who gets paid during a shutdown?

There were some services that I had to interact with that were affected, but I wasn't affected by it personally. I also think that the deal is just a temporary delay and I feel that the issue will continue. I think they just didn't want a bunch of angry people over the holidays
