My Hive Goals for 2024 Week #4
I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2024 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. We are closing in to the end of the first month and I should see how well I have done so far. I collected my HBD interest last week and that helped push my HBD progress up. So the rest will just depend on my LEO and HP will go. My LEO goal is decent from the first LPUd but my HP might be a struggle.
Progress
Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week is looking a bit worse compared to last week but I still think that I am doing quite well on my own goals so far. Progress is progress as it all adds up over time.
HP
I got about more than last week with 54 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. My author rewards are down but my curation is up. I think I am doing fine though as I am doing a decent job of using up my voting power.
HBD
I gained 15 HBD last week and I deposited that into my Savings this week. This is slightly lower than last week but I kind of expected it after seeing the chart earlier.
LEO Power
I did earn 38 LEO last week so it wasn't that bad. This was slightly lower than last week and I think I need to start heading back to threads. I did visit a threadcast last week and I'll see if I can make it to a few different shows. I usually can't make them live but it's the best that I can do as I am not active on the threads main page. Going to the threadscast can be a good alternative to getting some more LEO and I can get some of my own questions in for the live shows.
Conclusion
My progress is looking fine so far. Both HBD and LEO power are ahead of where I need to be right now. My HP is behind though as I should be closer to 8% right now. It's not too far off so I should still be able to cover for that later in the year if I need to. There should be some HBD leftover towards the end of the year and I should be getting some LEO each month to make that LEO power goal easier. So the largest concern is my HP goal. Either way, I push on forward and make progress every single week.

The HBD goals I had in 2021 was what sustained me till this this year. I think HBD is solid and even the bull is nearly here, it's still a goal to have indeed.

Hello friend, excellent work, congratulations for the dedication you have towards your goals. My question would be: How long ago did you start your savings in HBD?
I started saving HBD over a year ago. It's been a slow grind to increase my own stash.
It seems that increasing reserves requires a lot of perseverance, time and dedication, but it is very satisfying to see the results after a while.
I am just starting, I intend to create the habit of saving and from there establish new growth goals.
