Lunch at Kermit’s Cebu with My Favorite Girls
We recently had lunch at Kermit’s Cebu, and it turned out to be such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. It was just me, my mom, Zadie's nanny (whom we lovingly call Nanay), and of course, our little sunshine, Zadie.
There was no line outside, so it was ideal that we got there right before the restaurant opened. I’ve heard how popular the place can get, so I was glad we came early and didn’t have to wait. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, which made settling in easy, especially I was with my senior mom and with a child in tow.
For our orders, I chose meals that I knew everyone would enjoy. I got the beef stroganoff for Nanay—she enjoys home-made dishes and she wants to eat less pork now, and this one didn’t disappoint. My mom had the beef steak, which was flavorful and cooked just right. She is also cutting down on eating pork. As for me, I went for their pork humba, which I shared with Zadie. It was tender and delicious, and the portion was generous enough for the both of us, I even shared it with Nanay because I wanted her to taste it so she can also cook this for us at home.
We had to try their pastries even though we were already full. We ordered the Very Berry Cake and the Strawberry Hokkaido Cake. I really loved both, especially the Hokkaido one was my favorite since it was light, fluffy, and not too sweet. Just perfect.
We didn’t order any drinks because, honestly, we were already so full by the time dessert was done.
The dishes are a little pricey, but I think they’re worth it. The servings were huge and definitely made for a satisfying meal.
We had a great lunch at Kermit’s Cebu, Kermit’s Cebu. You can check it out at the Bonifacio District in Cebu City. I would definitely go back – and maybe next time, I’ll try their drinks too.
The colorful plates look so appetizing and the dessert looks delectable. Zadie looks like she loved it too!
Indeed, she loves it!
