A marvelous walk in the mountains (English/Spanish)

Loving greetings to all my Hove friends, especially the Wednesday adventurers. I had a few weeks without stopping by, but I swear I have good reasons. The truth is that the process of moving has been very exhausting, physically and psycho-emotionally. But luckily we're done and I'm sure one of these days I'll tell those who follow me how were those last days of moving things and how we are settling everything in our new home.

After a long time without going out to the city, we were invited to make the literary route, to one of our favorite places of work: The care entity Wilpia Flores de Centeno. This is a center that houses adolescents or young adults deprived of liberty. Of course this institution is in the upper part of the city of San Cristobal and since we moved to the small rural town 5 years ago we were not going to work in the care entity.

The space in the morning was for reading, creation and a lot of sharing. In this space we can not take pictures, since the laws of our country protect the identity of minors deprived of liberty and their file is not public, so that this is not a stain on their life when looking for work or continue their studies. The institution is in charge of taking a couple of photos for our personal records. To these I wanted to add even more protection for the young women by blurring their faces in the photo.

After leaving this wonderful meeting we went to the village of Abejal. A beautiful artisan heart in the Guasimos municipality. Although we did not get what we were looking for we had the opportunity to enjoy a small snack in a bakery. We bought an exquisite coffee, in my case I ordered a delicious chocolate cake, it was a portion but it was huge. My dear @aly.squid on the other hand, ordered a slice of pizza. Everything was tremendously delicious. We enjoyed the different craft stores and they informed us where we could get what we were looking for. But because of the time we decided to go another day, so we headed to Tariba, specifically to the margaritas sector, to visit my dear sister-in-law and her beautiful babies.

Tariba always enchants us with its beautiful landscapes. Being in a very high part of the Cardenas municipality, Las Margaritas has a full view of the highway that connects the Cardenas municipality with San Cristobal. So we made a brief stop to take some pictures in this great view. The mountains, the excellent weather, the feeling of being very close to the sky, are some of the things we love about going to Las Margaritas de Tariba.

We finally arrived at our destination which was my sister-in-law @chacald.dcymt's house. There she welcomed us from her big balcony and we spent two days and one night surrounded by all the love that she, her husband and her two adorable children always give us. All in all, for having had so much time without going out, this last trip was really fascinating, doing the things we love to do and sharing with the people we love.

Un maravilloso paseo entre montañas (Ingles/Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hove, especialmente para los aventureros de los miércoles. Tenía unas semanas sin pasar por aquí, pero juro que tengo buenas razones. Lo cierto es que el proceso de mudarme ha sido muy agotador, a nivel físico y psico-emocional. Pero por suerte ya terminamos y seguro uno de estos días les contare a quienes me siguen como fueron esos últimos días de traslado de las cosas y como estamos acomodando todo en nuestro nuevo hogar.

Después de un montón de tiempo sin salir a la ciudad, fuimos invitadas para realizar la ruta literaria, a uno de nuestros lugares de trabajo favorito: La entidad de atención Wilpia Flores de Centeno. Esto es un centro que alberga a adolecentes o jóvenes adultas privadas de libertad. Por supuesto esta institución queda en la parte alta de la ciudad de San Cristóbal y desde que nos mudamos al pequeño pueblito rural hace 5 años no íbamos a trabajar en la entidad de atención.

El espacio en la mañana fue de lectura, creación y mucho compartir. En ese espacio no podemos sacar fotos, ya que las leyes de nuestro país protegen la identidad de los menores de edad privados de libertad y su expediente no es público, para que esto no sea una mancha en su vida a la hora de buscar trabajo o continuar con sus estudias. La institución de hacernos y encarga de pasarnos un par de fotos para nuestro registro personal. A estas quise agregarle aun mayor protección a las jóvenes, difuminado sus rostros en la foto.

Al salir de ese maravilloso encuentro nos fuimos al pueblo del Abejal. Un hermoso corazón artesanal en el municipio Guasimos. Aunque no conseguimos lo que buscábamos tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar de una pequeña merienda en una panadería. Compramos un exquisito café, en mi caso pedí una deliciosa torta de chocolate, era una porción pero era enorme. Mi querida @aly.squid por su parte, pidió una porción de pizza. Todo estaba tremendamente delicioso. Disfrutamos de las diferentes tiendas de artesanía y nos informaron donde podíamos conseguir lo que buscábamos. Pero por la hora decidimos ir otro día, así que nos encaminamos a Tariba, específicamente al sector de las margaritas, para visitar mi querida cuñada y a sus hermosos bebes.

Tariba siempre nos enamora con sus hermosos paisajes. Por estar en una parte muy alta del municipio Cardenas, Las Margaritas tiene una vista completa a la autopista que conecta al municipio Cardenas con San Cristóbal. Así que hicimos una brece parada para sacar unas fotos en esta grandiosa vista. Las montañas, el excelente clima, a sensación de estar muy cerca del cielo, son algunas de las cosas que nos encanta de ir a Las Margaritas de Tariba.

Por fin llegamos a nuestro destino que fue la casa de mi cuñada @chacald.dcymt. Allí nos recibió desde su gran balcón y pasamos dos días y una noche rodeadas de todo ese amor que ella, su esposo y sus dos adorables hijos siempre nos brindan. Total que para haber tenido tanto tiempo sin salir, este último paseo fue realmente fascinante, haciendo las cosas que nos gusta hacer y compartiendo con la gente que queremos.
