A joyful journey. The road, the city, and adventure (Spanish/English)

A warm greeting to all my friends at Hive, especially those who love adventure. Today I want to share with you the wonderful trip I took with my dear @aly.squid to the city of San Cristóbal. Despite the difficulties we face in traveling to the city as often as we used to, we managed to get away thanks to a little money we were able to save up. Recreation is something we never give up on, despite the adversities we face in Venezuela.

The main reason for our trip to the city was the opportunity to buy some nice sneakers at the Bari Alpargatas store. This store, which manufactures shoes in the state of Táchira, launched a promotion for the start of the school season, and we didn't want to miss the opportunity to replace my shoes, which were no longer holding up well. With only $20 in our pockets, we were excited about the possibility of giving my feet a new and comfortable pair of shoes.

We arrived at the shopping mall, our favorite place in the city, and happily wandered through the aisles. We stopped at different stores, checking out the new items that the management had added. Finally, we arrived at Bari Alpargatas and were lucky enough to be served by the store owner herself. Although my shoe size is somewhat unusual in my region, she promised to make me a pair that would fit my feet. Her kindness and helpfulness made my day.

We eagerly paid and said goodbye, grateful for the excellent service we received at the store. Before leaving, we asked the owner for a photo together and told her a little about Hive, mentioning that I would talk about Bari Alpargatas on my blog. We left with smiles on our faces, happy with the positive experience we had had.

We spent the rest of the day having a wonderful time at the mall, enjoying every moment together. We had a delicious coffee from a machine, which cost us less than $1 and was really delicious. A warm conversation with the sweetness of a warm coffee is sometimes all you need. We also stopped by a store we discovered recently, but which has amazed us. They sell incredible things for crafts and art. And best of all, at unbeatable prices. So, we took advantage of this little store and bought a sketchbook and a case of acrylic markers. The latter was a special gift from my dear Aly, as I had wanted them for quite some time and we were able to get them. Soon I will be showing you what I have done with my markers.

I am excitedly awaiting my new shoes, which will take approximately 8 days to be manufactured and delivered to the store. The thrill of wearing a new pair of shoes fills me with joy and gratitude for having had the opportunity to take this trip to the city. Although economic difficulties and adverse weather conditions have limited our travels, we will not allow them to rob us of the chance to enjoy special moments like this. Life is still beautiful despite the difficulties, and we must hold on to the small joys that each day brings us.

Un paseo lleno de alegría. La carretera, la ciudad y la aventura (Español/Ingles)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente para los amantes de las aventuras. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes el maravilloso paseo que tuve junto a mi querida @aly.squid en la ciudad de San Cristóbal. A pesar de las dificultades que enfrentamos para viajar a la ciudad con la misma frecuencia de antes, logramos escaparnos gracias a un poquito de dinero que pudimos reunir. La recreación es algo que nunca abandonamos, a pesar de las adversidades que enfrentamos en Venezuela.

El principal motivo de nuestro viaje a la ciudad era la oportunidad de adquirir unos lindos zapatos deportivos en la tienda Bari Alpargatas. Esta tienda, que fabrica zapatos en el estado Táchira, lanzó una promoción por el inicio de la temporada escolar y no quisimos perder la oportunidad de renovar mis zapatos, que ya no soportaban más el paso del tiempo. Con solo 20 dólares en el bolsillo, estábamos emocionadas por la posibilidad de darle a mis pies un nuevo y cómodo par de zapatos.

Llegamos al centro comercial, nuestro lugar favorito en la ciudad, y recorrimos los pasillos con alegría. Nos detuvimos en diferentes tiendas, observando las novedades que la administración había incorporado. Finalmente, llegamos a Bari Alpargatas y tuvimos la suerte de ser atendidas por la propia dueña de la tienda. A pesar de que mi número de zapatos es algo inusual en mi región, ella se comprometió a fabricarme un par que se ajustara a mis pies. Su amabilidad y disposición me alegraron el día.

Realizamos el pago con entusiasmo y nos despedimos, agradecidas por la excelente atención que recibimos en la tienda. Antes de irnos, le pedimos a la dueña una foto juntas y le hablamos un poco sobre Hive, mencionando que hablaría de Bari Alpargatas en mi blog. Nos marchamos con una sonrisa en el rostro, felices por la experiencia positiva que habíamos vivido.

El resto del día lo pasamos maravillosamente en el centro comercial, disfrutando de cada momento juntas. Nos tomamos un delicioso café de maquina, que nos costo menos de 1$ y estaba realmente delicioso. Una cálida conversación con la dulzura de un cálido café, a veces es todo lo que una necesita. También pasamos por una tienda que conocimos hace poco, pero que nos ha maravillado, venden cosas increíbles para el trabajo manual y artístico. Y lo mejor, a precios insuperables. Así que en esta pequeña tienda tampoco dejamos de aprovechar y compramos un block de dibujo y un estuche de marcadores acrílicos. Este ultimo fue un regalo especial que me hizo mi querida Aly, ya que los quería desde hace bastante y pudimos conseguirlos, pronto les estaré mostrando lo que realice con mis marcadores.

Estoy emocionada por la espera de mis nuevos zapatos, que tardarán aproximadamente 8 días en ser fabricados y trasladados a la tienda. La ilusión de estrenar un par de zapatos nuevos me llena de alegría y gratitud por haber tenido la oportunidad de realizar este paseo a la ciudad. Aunque las dificultades económicas y las condiciones climáticas adversas nos han limitado en nuestros viajes, no permitiremos que nos roben la posibilidad de disfrutar de momentos especiales como este. La vida sigue siendo hermosa a pesar de las dificultades, y debemos aferrarnos a las pequeñas alegrías que nos brinda el día a día.
