"Returning Renewed : My Story of Growth and Reflection "

Woah! It's been a whole year since I last published a post on Hive. 2024 was a year I'll never forget. I was really occupied with many activities that didn't allow me to be active here.

In December 2023, my phone was stolen, which left me traumatized for months. I developed a phobia of sounds after witnessing the theft. Many things I did with my phone were put on hold, including my activities on Hive.

I agree with people who say life without a phone and data is boring. It was indeed boring, but I didn't let it affect me. Instead, I developed a greater interest in reading, which was all I could do at the time. I became more aggressive with my studies, and it paid off.

I had always wanted to write my final project myself, and I did. I was able to get another phone and was gifted a laptop - what a double blessing! I was very engaged in writing my project and preparing for my final exams.

I graduated last year, and looking back, I just want to appreciate God and everyone who contributed to my growth on campus. During my time away, I developed myself in other aspects. I enrolled in online courses on content marketing and copywriting and earned my certificates.

As a fresh graduate, I've been trying to get something done for myself. I've submitted my CV to different companies, and all I can say is that life as a graduate is not easy. Many ideas have been coming up in my head, and I've realized I've been hard on myself.

I need to be easy on myself and learn to build within my space. I want to be at peace and not compare myself with others. When my peers thrive, I should be genuinely happy for them and keep working and believing in myself.

One of my goals this year is to build a brand of my own. I've actually started it, but I haven't launched it yet. It might not only be about fashion designing, which is what I'm known for. I'm thinking of including something else as well, leveraging on my many skills.

I'm excited to be back on Hive and can't wait to explore and learn from every giant of knowledge here. It feels so good to be back! Thank you for reading through. Love you!
