My hive power up: January 2024

Feliz año nuevo! Quizá la frase más repetida en el mundo entero para este día y con razón, pues, estamos inaugurando un año que un sin fin de oportunidades dentro de él, ahora bien, para que este año sea feliz no basta con desearlo, hay que poner manos a la obra para que estos deseos se hagan realidad.

Es ésta la razón por la cual he decidido empezar mi 2024 dentro de Hive participando en la iniciativa que cada primer día del mes une a varios dentro de nuestro querido ecosistema en el propósito de realizar power up a algunos de nuestros Hive líquidos. Personalmente es algo que quisiera retomar, pues, ya llevo varios meses que, por motivos económicos, no he podido realizar ninguno.

La moraleja de Roma

"Roma no se construyó en un día" es una frase que nos invita a no desesperarnos en nuestros propósitos, emulando la historia del esplendor del imperio romano, el cual no fue algo que ocurrió de la noche a la mañana, sino que se trató de una serie de pequeños hechos grandiosos que se fueron entretejiendo poco a poco e hicieron lo que hoy conocemos de ella.

De la misma manera, este power up que estoy realizando hoy es como ese primer ladrillo que voy a ir poniendo en la reconstrucción de mi Hive Power, pues, por circunstancias que no pude gestionar de otra forma, el año pasado tuve que realizar power down de todo lo que tenía, este comienzo de año es por eso un buen momento para marcar un nuevo comienzo en este hive en staking tan preciado e importante dentro del funcionamiento de nuestra blockchain.

Gota a gota se llena el cántaro

Ésta es otra imagen que quiero traer a colación para expresar lo que quiero sea parte de mi compromiso con Hive este año, pues, aunque sea poca la cantidad de power up que pueda realizar cada mes, todo suma. De hecho, una experiencia que me fue muy grata del año pasado es que por curación me llegaban pequeñas recompensas aún cuando tenía poco HP, lo cual me enseñó a valorar ese Hive que en staking tenga, sea poco o mucho.

En principio, quisiera por mes hacer power up de al menos 10 Hive líquidos, según sea también cómo esté mi situación económica en ese momento. Este mes empecé con 50 porque sólo me había quedado con 18 HP, y noté que era poco los RC (recursos de créditos) que estos me generaban, y sabemos que este elemento en la blockchain es base para todas las actividades que realizamos (posts, votos, comentarios, transferencias de activos, etc.).

Cuál es mi proyección?

Entre las actividades económicas que quisiera empezar a diversificar pero de manera más organizada y constante es la curación de contenido, ya sea de manera personal o por delegación. De hecho, es algo que en cierta forma empecé a enfocarme ya el año pasado como parte de las actividades de gestión de la comunidad de Humanitas.

Me parece interesante resaltar este enfoque dentro de nuestra blockchain, porque es una motivación directa a hacer staking de algunos de mis Hive y, al mismo tiempo, una contribución directa a la conservación en el tiempo de las bondades y beneficios que aquí encontramos, y que por la manera en que está diseñado nuestro ecosistema, resulta esencial.

Happy New Year! Perhaps the most repeated phrase in the world for this day and rightly so, because we are inaugurating a year that has endless opportunities within it. However, for this year to be happy, it is not enough to wish for it, we have to get to work to make these wishes come true.

This is the reason why I have decided to start my 2024 on Hive by participating in the initiative that brings together several people in our beloved ecosystem on the first day of each month with the purpose of powering up some of our liquid Hive. Personally, it is something that I would like to resume, as I have not been able to do any for several months due to economic reasons.

The Moral of Rome

"Rome was not built in a day" is a phrase that invites us not to despair in our goals, emulating the history of the splendor of the Roman Empire, which was not something that happened overnight, but rather a series of small, great events that were interwoven little by little and made it what we know it to be today.

In the same way, this power up that I am doing today is like the first brick that I will be putting in the rebuilding of my Hive Power, because, due to circumstances that I could not manage in any other way, last year I had to power down everything I had. This beginning of the year is therefore a good time to mark a new beginning in this hive in staking that is so precious and important within the functioning of our blockchain.

Drop by drop the jug is filled

This is another image that I want to bring up to express what I want to be part of my commitment to Hive this year, because, even if the amount of power up that I can do each month is small, it all adds up. In fact, a very pleasant experience I had last year is that I received small rewards for curation even when I had little HP, which taught me to value that Hive that I have in staking, be it little or much.

In principle, I would like to power up at least 10 liquid Hive per month, according to my economic situation at that time. This month I started with 50 because I only had 18 HP left, and I noticed that the RC (credit resources) they generated for me was low, and we know that this element in the blockchain is the basis for all the activities we carry out (posts, votes, comments, transfers of assets, etc.).

What is my projection?

Among the economic activities that I would like to start diversifying but in a more organized and constant way is content curation, either personally or by delegation. In fact, it is something that I started to focus on in a certain way last year as part of the management activities of the Humanitas community.

I find it interesting to highlight this focus within our blockchain, because it is a direct motivation to stake some of my Hive, and at the same time, a direct contribution to the conservation over time of the goodness and benefits that we find here, and which, due to the way our ecosystem is designed, is essential.
