Hoy me he encontrado con que los amigos del proyecto inleo proponen a los que siguen su iniciativa de escritura mensual un tema relacionado con esta comunidad de humanitas, tiene que ver con el comportamiento humano en su relación con la cultura, en concreto, un tema que verse sobre las normas culturales implícitas o explícitas y/o los comportamientos colectivos. Inmediatamente me vino a mi reflexión un tema del cual se habla mucho y que tiene implicaciones concretas y prácticas. Es el tema de la globalización tan presente hoy en día que en cierta manera podemos hablar del planeta tierra, del mundo, como un país grande.

Mi reflexion la enfoco en el hecho de que hoy en día hablamos no sólo de culturas específicas sino de cómo estas se encuentran interconectadas unas con otras, influenciadas de tal o cual manera, absorbidas, o en una mezcla que da incluso un nuevo producto cultural, todo lo cual evidentemente tiene su impacto en las conductas de cada persona y en el comportamiento de las sociedades, esto es el ritmo y dirección de crecimiento que estás han adoptado. Al respecto existe un pensador latinoamericano que habla sobre estos temas de manera más profunda y con estudios interesantes, se trata del filósofo argentino Néstor García Canclini.

Canclini propone la teoría de las culturas híbridas la cual da paso a la existencia en una misma cultura de la diversidad, lo cual en un mundo globalizado como el que nos ha tocado vivir es de una importancia fundamental, no solo por el hecho en sí mismo sino por todo aquello lo que el mismo propicia, como lo es una mayor actitud de tolerancia, respeto y, sobre todo, poder encontrar esos puntos neurálgicos donde cada cultura en lo positivo encuentren la forma de complementarse unas con otras. Esto a mí me parece maravilloso porque no es solo algo propio de la sociedad de hoy en día sino que corresponde a lo que somos los seres humanos, personas que están llamadas al encuentro con otras para enriquecerse y, al mismo tiempo, poder enriquecer a los demás.

El punto aquí es reconocer como una cultura globalizada crea unos patrones que en cierta manera moldean las conductas de los individuos, esto es así de tal forma que ya no solo se desvanecen la fronteras físicas sino también los límites en las características conductuales personales, ya que podemos conseguirnos con conductas semejantes tanto en una persona asiática como en una europea, africana o americana, todo motivado porque todas ellas han tenido contacto con un hecho cultural que aunque tiene origen en un lugar específico, se ha extendido de tal manera que ha llegado al mundo entero.

Aquí existen varios ejemplos, entre ellos podemos considerar las películas que cuando se vuelven tendencia ciertos personajes o hechos específicos son asumidos como una norma de conducta, aunque sea en broma. Digamos lo mismo con los videos de las redes sociales, pues a veces hay hasta simples frases que se hacen comunes por la popularización de determinado material multimedia.

Dentro de esta misma línea también cabe mencionar a la música ya que existen ciertas canciones que se hacen muy queridas por personas de diferentes latitudes de la tierra, de tal manera que más allá de la diferencias lingüísticas y culturales la asumen con emoción cariño y pasión que las cantan a todo pulmón. Pensemos en uno del último éxitos de la cantante colombiana Shakira con una de las frases en una de sus canciones, "las mujeres ya no lloran, las mujeres facturan."

Todo esto es posible gracias a los medios de comunicación de masa que hacen llegar las diversas producciones a muchas partes del mundo y en tiempo récord, ahora bien, esto implica también una exigencia para cada individuo y la diversas sociedades según también su específica identidad cultural y es la importancia en la formación de los criterios individuales y en la clarificación de las normas de conducta de las comunidades, pues ñ,buna cosa es respetar una determinada cultura y otra es que sin ningún filtro se asuma tal cual ya que aquí no tendríamos una cultura híbrida sino ecléctica en el sentido de que sin pensar o considerar las diferencias intrinsecas e incompatibles se asumiría todo por igual.

Por qué harías donde podemos ver la influencia o el encuentro de culturas es en el lenguaje, por ejemplo, hoy se habla del spanglish no solo en el sentido de acudir a palabras de uno y otra idioma sino en la combinación de palabras del idioma español e inglés, por ejemplo, parquear, googlear, stalkear, etc. Las mismas marcas de industrias específicas han llevado también a este fenómeno cultural como el Whatsapp que en español sería "Cómo estás?", a quien lo llame así aunque esté en lo cierto lo etiquetaríamos con razón como loco.

No quiero terminar este post sin hacer referencia a que nuestras tierras han sido llevadas por el destino desde un principio a este encuentro de culturas, pues, el descubrimiento de nuestras tierras por colonias europeas sin lugar a duda llevó a la mezcla de naciones y diversidades culturales que hoy nos llevan a muchos a reconocer en nuestras raíces diversos orígenes.

Today I came across something interesting. The friends from the Inleo Project propose a topic related to this "humanitas" community to those who follow their monthly writing initiative. It has to do with human behavior in its relationship with culture, specifically a topic that could be about implicit or explicit cultural norms and/or collective behaviors. Immediately a topic came to mind that is talked about a lot and that has concrete and practical implications. It is the topic of globalization, so present today that in a certain way we can speak of the planet Earth, of the world, as one big country.

My reflection focuses on the fact that today we talk not only about specific cultures but also about how they are interconnected, influenced in one way or another, absorbed, or in a mix that even gives rise to a new cultural product, all of which obviously has its impact on the behavior of each person and on the behavior of societies, this is the rhythm and direction of growth that they have adopted. In this regard, there is a Latin American thinker who talks about these topics in a deeper way and with interesting studies, he is the Argentine philosopher Néstor García Canclini.

Canclini proposes the theory of hybrid cultures which gives way to the existence of diversity within the same culture, which in a globalized world like the one we live in is of fundamental importance, not only for the fact itself but for everything it promotes, such as a greater attitude of tolerance, respect, and above all, being able to find those neuralgic points where each culture, in a positive way, finds a way to complement each other. This seems wonderful to me because it is not only something typical of today's society but it corresponds to what we humans are, people who are called to encounter others to enrich ourselves and, at the same time, to be able to enrich others.

The point here is to recognize how a globalized culture creates patterns that in a certain way mold the behavior of individuals, this is so true that not only physical borders vanish but also the limits in personal behavioral characteristics, since we can find ourselves with similar behaviors in both an Asian person and a European, African or American, all motivated because all of them have had contact with a cultural fact that although it has its origin in a specific place, it has spread so much that it has reached the whole world.

Here there are several examples, among them we can consider movies that when certain characters or specific events become a trend, are taken on as a norm of conduct, even if it is jokingly. Let's say the same thing with videos on social networks, because sometimes there are even simple phrases that become common due to the popularization of certain multimedia material.

Along the same lines, it is also worth mentioning music, since there are certain songs that become very dear to people from different latitudes of the earth, so that beyond linguistic and cultural differences, they embrace it with emotion, affection and passion, singing it at the top of their lungs. Let's think about one of the latest hits by the Colombian singer Shakira with one of the phrases in one of her songs, "women don't cry anymore, women bill."

All this is possible thanks to the mass media that makes various productions reach many parts of the world in record time. Now, this also implies a demand for each individual and the various societies according to their specific cultural identity, and it is the importance of the formation of individual criteria and the clarification of the norms of conduct of communities, because respecting a certain culture is one thing and another is that it is assumed as is without any filter, since here we would not have a hybrid culture but an eclectic one in the sense that everything would be assumed equally without thinking or considering the intrinsic and incompatible differences.

Why you would do where we can see the influence or encounter of cultures is in language, for example, today we talk about Spanglish not only in the sense of using words from one and another language but in the combination of words from the Spanish and English languages, for example, to park, to google, to stalk, etc. The same brands of specific industries have also led to this cultural phenomenon like Whatsapp, which in Spanish would be "How are you?", whoever calls it that way, even if they are right, we would rightly label them as crazy.

I don't want to finish this post without referring to the fact that our lands have been destined from the beginning to this encounter of cultures, since the discovery of our lands by European colonies undoubtedly led to the mixture of nations and cultural diversities that today leads many of us to recognize diverse origins in our roots.
