I'm so glad you share that moment with your daughter; it's something very special. I wasn't familiar with this book, but the plot sounds fascinating, especially the story within the story and the mystery of the Joker. I think I'll make a note to look for it; you've left me curious to know what happens. And I think what you're doing to get your daughter interested is a great idea; there's no better way than reading something that truly engages you.

Yes, this book is a gem, and it's not one of the most well-known. I knew the author from Sophie's World, but finding this novel was a blessing, and it's a very unique story. It's worth reading.... and of course, my task of getting my little girl to read is arduous, but one day I will succeed lol.
