Where the Sea Keeps Its Pearl 🌊

Greetings, my fellow writers!
Today, I’d like to share my experience and the beauty of what nature — God’s wonderful creation — has to offer.
Good Day, Good Weather
It was such a good day! After two typhoons had recently hit the Philippines, nature began to show signs of recovery — its natural beauty shining once again. We had class on this very day, and it was funny because we also had a performance task in Physical Education with a deadline of 5 PM.

We were vacant starting around 11:45, and our plan was to finish our video performance by 1 PM so we could visit a new place we’d been wanting to explore called “Pearl of the Ocean.” But, of course, things didn’t go exactly as planned — our performance took so long to finish! 😂 We practiced for two hours, almost giving up on our agreed nature trip. My moody self didn’t help much either (haha), but we found another alternative tool because the ball we were using for our task kept taking forever — we had to do 20 consecutive sets and tosses! Finally, two of my friends decided to use balloons instead.

When we arrived at the supermarket, two of my friends looked for balloons for their performance, while I, along with another friend and a classmate, ordered food — burgers, pizza, milk tea, and junk food. Phewww! What a day! Honestly, I became a bit impatient because Google Maps said the place we wanted to visit was a bit far away.

We also had our group photo taken at a place called “Joe’s Brew.” They offer a lot — from fried snacks to nachos, kimchi, frappes, lattes, and my favorite, milk tea! ☕ So, we finally began our journey at around 2:50 PM and arrived at 3:30 PM at Pearl of the Ocean.
This is the view from my back. Isn't beautiful? 😍

When we arrived, we were amazed by the stunning view of the mountains and the ocean behind us. As you can see in my photos, the smile on my face says it all!

They said there were 150 steps to climb, and so our journey began! The place was simple yet engaging — a warm and refreshing welcome from nature itself.
And here we gooo! Let’s see what we have here — I was super excited! 🥹

Reaching the top was such an amazing feeling! We were all sweaty and a bit tired after climbing 150 steps, but it was definitely worth it.

The moment we reached the top, I felt comfort and peace as I admired God’s wonderful creation. Looking at the beautiful ocean and islands was simply breathtaking — something I’ve always dreamed of. Thank God!🙏✨
such a beauty of nature that I would always look at

To give you some context, our group is made up of four people — we call ourselves the “Lunch Buddies” We met and agreed to have lunch together on the first day of school, and that was the start of our friendship.

Here are some of our photo memories from this trip, all with the goal of enjoying nature together.

We’re also very grateful to our patient and down-to-earth classmate, whom we convinced to join us. He became our driver, photographer, and helper for everything — we’ll forever be thankful for him!
The Story Behind
From the view, you can also see an island. I asked the admin what it was called, and they said it’s Tintinan Island. Hearing that name brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me of a dear grandmother from the Kids Ministry in Bunhayag — someone I used to teach every Saturday. We once talked about visiting this island together, but God had already called her home. It made me emotional, but I know God always has a better plan. This island holds a special story in my heart and became a meaningful part of this journey

Having photos taken in this place gave me such beautiful memories that I’ll forever cherish. I’m so grateful to my friends and our amazing photographer.

I especially love my dress and how it perfectly fits the beautiful scenery surrounding me 😍
And the best part? Are you ready, dear writers and readers?

Here we go — the Golden Hour, also known as the Sunset! 🌅
It was almost 5 PM when my classmate Reynan, our driver, reminded us that we had to go home soon since it was getting late and the travel time would take about an hour. We started packing our things and cleaning up our trash, but then — we were stopped by the breathtaking view of the sunset! It captured our hearts and attention, so of course, we had to pause one more time before leaving. 😂
How could we possibly miss it?

That sunset became my favorite — it even looked so good in my photos! What do you think?

We really had a good day, good food, amazing experience, we shared laughter especially during our groufie moments hahaha, truly a worth keeping memories!
I truly love it. Even now, as I look back at the pictures, I can still feel the beauty and peace of that moment, as if I’m still there. It puts me in awe of God’s amazing masterpiece.
One of my favorite flower 🌺 in the middle of sunset

I’m so grateful and beyond blessed for this opportunity to experience such wonder — embracing nature and God’s incredible creation. 🌅💛

Finally, we were going home — walking down the stairs once again. But this time, it felt different. The excitement was still there, yet mixed with the bittersweet feeling of leaving. Earlier, while going up, we were filled with energy and anticipation, eager to reach the top — the best part. Now, as we went down, the feeling shifted. It was like saying goodbye while holding on to the memories of what we had just experienced above.

So yes, walking down these stairs again — in awe, full of happiness, calm, and wonder — left such a lasting impression. I couldn’t look down, knowing that once I did, it meant I was leaving the moment behind. I had to say goodbye for now, but the memories and experiences we had will stay forever in my heart.
What we saw, what we felt, and what we built together will always remain within me. As long as this place exists, so will the fresh memories we created here.
Beautiful, amazing, isn’t it? Even I was left standing in awe — amazed that I finally witnessed this place I had only seen on the internet so many times. It once felt so far, yet now I was here, truly experiencing the long-awaited moment. I thank God for our safe travel, both going and coming back, and for the people who have been such blessings to me since my first year in college. The bond between the four of us has grown stronger, and I know it will continue to grow as long as the word “together” remains.
To God be the glory. 🌅
