This is my first introductory post. Thank you in advance for giving me a chance by reading my post.

WHO?...

My name is Jessica Onyinyechukwu Iwuagwu, I am a Nigerian by birth and have a family of currently 6, my mother, me, and my 4 younger siblings (no I'm not married yet, for no one wondering...). Many would say I am extroverted, but I think of myself as an ambivert, leaning more towards the introverted side honestly (my social battery has a limit).

My life has been a rollercoaster so I hope you are up for the ride. Let's begin!

When I was a child, about six, I and my family migrated to Malawi, a small but beautiful country located in the South-eastern part of Africa. We went there due to my father's business. I grew up in its capital city Lilongwe, where I had the best memories of my childhood. I am grateful for the opportunities given to me by my mother who became our family's rock after my father passed away. I thank her truly for making me the woman I am today.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE?...

After graduating high school I had the benefit of studying in Kenya, a great Eastern African country, where I graduated from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, in Nairobi, its capital city. I was awarded a Diploma in Business Management and my Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, specializing in Accounting.

After university, I decided to move back to Nigeria and complete my national youth service. For those that may not know is a mandatory service year where all Nigerians (NYSC), whether male or female undergo to increase national development and skill building in youths (and no it doesn't mean I am in the military), we do undergo basic military-like training but that's only for 3 weeks then we are posted to work.

I'm on the journey of exploring and falling back in love with my country and will most likely stay here for the foreseeable future.

HOW I ENDED UP AS A HIVER...

I first heard of Hive from my friend and workmate Aya Wilson, who then introduced me to @ovey10, who guided and advised me through the platform. I enjoy writing and feel that through this platform I will be able to express myself more, delving deeper into my creative side and continuously learning new things. It fills my heart with utmost joy at the thought of being able to share my talents with you all.

HOBBIES I DO TO BANISH BOREDOM...
My hobbies are reading, writing reviews, singing, watching horror movies/reviews, Korean dramas/ webtoons/ manhwa, Japanese anime/manga, meeting friends, trying to exercise (heaven knows I try), and going to fun places.

Much of the content I make here will involve my hobbies, and my prayer is for my content to evolve.
