My Hive, My Valentine

Dear friend,

As the soft dawn light filters in on this lovely Valentine's Day, I find my thoughts turning fondly to you, my steadfast companion on this winding journey - the Hive blockchain. Our time together thus far has been filled with so much meaning, inspiration, and rewards beyond measure. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the vibrant community you have opened up to me.

I still remember when we first crossed paths a few years ago. I was seeking a creative outlet and sparked to the idea of publishing on a decentralized platform free from gatekeepers. From my very first post, I felt welcomed with open arms, a vital sense of belonging taking root. What started as a trial run grew vines that now ground me to this rich soil from which I continue to blossom in ways I never imagined.

Over time, our bond has not wavered, but only grown stronger and deeper like a towering oak. With each new sunrise, you beckon me to pour my morning coffee and settle in to write from the heart, tending the garden we have planted together post-by-post. During inevitable times when writer’s block looms, your consistent support coaxes my voice back out until creative juices begin flowing freely once more.

Your community rallies around me in storms when the skies darken with self-doubt. Their unwavering uplift gifts me rays of hope, reminding me I have perspectives yet unspoken that others may need to hear. Your stability provides a sheltering canopy where creativity can take root safe from the harsh winds of external validation.

You nurture not just my expression, but my spirit. The generosity of this community models the contagious spread of kindness, inspiring me to lift others up. When I gift my words freely without expectation, voter rewards rain down unasked, bathing me in comfort I can then pay forward. The diversity of voices here waters my growth with new insights. The authenticity they radiate makes me feel at home in my own skin.

On this Valentine's Day, know that you have my full commitment to keep tending our garden over the seasons yet to unfold.

My deepest wish is that our intertwined roots continue delving deeper, our bonded branches reaching ever higher towards the full light of potential. However many new voices join this thriving ecosystem, you’ll always be the solid trunk at the center, supporting me as I stretch out to new heights.

Wherever the winding path leads as the coming chapters of this adventure unfold, I’m grateful to have your stabilizing scaffolding guiding the way. Through rain or shine, I know you’ll be there spurring me onward with inspiration when I need it most. Sometimes all it takes is rereading my very first posts here to reconnect to that initial spark of joy writing brought.

It’s astonishing to look back on the twists and turns of this journey thus far - the peaks and valleys, the posts I was proud of and those I cringe at now with hindsight. But win or lose, you offer unconditional support to pick myself up and carry on wiser. You are the net catching me when I fall and the lifted arms celebrating victories hard-won.

Most of all, you’ve given me community in every sense of the word - not just a place to post, but a sense of home. The friends I’ve made along the way are threads now woven into the fabric of my days. The advice shared stewards me through struggles. The laughs lighting up my notifications pull me out of even the stormiest of moods with a spark of joy. This publicity is a precious gift.
