If you are drunk, don't drive
Hello hive friends I am here again trying to be active or at least I can write an article once in a while. I am quite busy being a full time mom and having a 7-month-old baby.
Dear hivers and to all drivers please don't drive if you drink and don't drink if you drive. That is a friendly reminder for us to be more safe. Always remember that your family is waiting for you to come home safely.
We have a tricycle and my husband is driving it to fetch some passengers to get some extra income after he got out from work. Usually, he is doing it around 5:00 in the afternoon until 7:00 or 8:00 in the evening.
Last last night I am cooking food for our dinner and my cell phone rang then my son answered it. His father called and looking for me so my son gave the cell phone to me.
Bok (this is how he call me), please call a police, I was bumped here in Sagrado, in front of Coke Distributor near Jong-jong (my brother) boarding house before.
I asked him if he is okay, but he never answered it and I only hear the commotion on the other line.
I heard my husband saying, I just parked here to drop my passenger and here you are coming so fast and bumped us.
Then the call ended. I felt so worried about my husband.
I called the number of the police being save in my phone but sadly the call was ended before it rings.
My sister in law called me for a different reason but then I asked her if my brother was there and I asked him a favor to go to my husband location.
While thinking what to do next, I felt that my body is shaking especially my legs. I can't control it even I tried my best. I did the inhale and exhale to comfort myself but nothing changes. My hands is shaking too and I can hardly speak.
I cannot understand what is happening to me so I decided to call for a help. I called my sister in law and the only words I uttered are BERL (her name), HELP! I uttered it repeatedly. She asking what happened but I can't talk well anymore.
Gladly he came with his husband and I tried to explain everything. His husband went to my husband location while my sister in law is trying to massage me hoping that I will be calm. She also called my god mother and call for help who is here too after few minutes.
They massage me and trying to comfort me. The husband of my sister in law called and told me to just relax because my husband is okay and only the tricycle has damaged.
It's a good news but my body is still shaking. I don't know why. I want to cry and I did and then I felt better.
Time passed by and I felt better, the shaking was gone and I can talk well.
After more than an hour, my husband came home and he was shocked after he knew what happened to me. He said that what if he was injured and he called me for help but I am the first who needed help, lol.
He then narrate what happened and it is the same to what I have heard in the phone call. He said that the driver of the tricycle who bumped them (my husband and his three passengers) is an old man who is drunk. Yes! The driver is under the influence of liquor and that's the reason maybe that he wasn't able to control himself while driving.
We are just very thankful that no one was hurt except the two tricycle who got damaged.
They call for a police and their license as well as the OR and CR of the motorcycle was surrendered to the police.
Here are the damage of our tricycle:
The brake light was broken.
The back part of our tricycle was deformed and some paint was removed.
Yesterday the son of that driver and my husband met. They ask forgiveness and ask favor to my husband that they will just buy a brake light because they don't have enough money.
They bought a brake light of Bajaj instead of Honda CB. My husband just accepted it so that our tricycle will have brake light.
He then installed it to our tricycle.
He also tried to repair the dents at the back of the tricycle.
This afternoon they will meet again at the police station. Hopefully the license and the OR and CR of our tricycle will be returned.
This incident reminds us that accident happened unexpectedly but we can more be safe if we are in a clear mind and not under the influence of liquor.
So, please drivers don't drink if you drive and don't drive if you drink.
Thank you so much for reading.

Ohh sorry to hear that
Thanks GOD that your husband and others are all fine and only vehicle damaged.
Be brave and hope we don't see this type of incidents
Yes praise God that all are safe but hopefully this accident won't happen again if those people who drink will be responsible enough.
Thanks for reading my post

Omg, glad to hear Your hubby is okay. Parehas tayo ng reaction, I shake when I hear something had happened yo one of my family and kahit pigilan ko, diko din talaga mapipigilang maluha, even if I already know that they are safe. Like, ang hirap e control ng emotion esp kapag shock at naga panic na diba.
As in sis you're the same? Di pala Ako nag iisa but I hate that kind of feeling. Parang Ako Ang unang mamatay hehehe.
Thank you for the support
