Visiting a little piece of the lake of Valencia [Esp-Eng]
The lake of Valencia is quite large and intimidating, I have visited several places quite separated from each other and the lake is there, in fact it is located in two states of the country. Although it is not a place where you can bathe and relax, the truth is that if you can enjoy the view, because honestly it is a lake with a peculiar beauty.
This one I visited is in Maracay Venezuela, specifically in the Libertador municipality, when I was a child to see this lake was complicated, you needed to walk 2 or more hours on a long road, between farms and crops, as a child I loved it because there were many animals, as they were also engaged in livestock, so I went all the way caressing them and playing with them.

It used to be a place full of vegetation, quite beautiful, however, it has changed a lot, the lake has grown too much and the road to it that used to take hours, now takes 15 to 20 minutes at the most to get to it. Obviously all those houses and farms are gone, they have had to leave because of the arrival of the lake. So, it has brought negative things, yet we cannot deny that it was a negative situation full of beauty.
When observing it, the water seems to have small waves due to the strong breeze, it is dark but still, it reflects the blue of the sky quite well and if you get close enough, you can see the fish that are closer, we can measure how deep it is, because there are still some poles that the lake has not covered completely, and others that some time ago could be seen if the water passed them.

In itself I have respect for the sea, it is quite intimidating, but much more to this lake because it is huge and dark, sometimes I imagine falling into it and get lost in the darkness. But leaving fear aside, I enjoy watching it for a while, there are areas where it looks so huge that it is lost in the distance and others where it is close and you can see the movement of the water almost at your feet.
As a child I heard stories about this lake that there was a huge monster that used to attack people, I honestly do not know if it is true, but what I do know is that easily in that deep and big lake there can be snakes or giant fish that without limit by the wide place where they live, were free to grow more than necessary. For my part I have not seen anything like that, only average sized fish and birds that swim to eat them.

I have not been able to visit it in the afternoon, but the truth is I would love to see how the sunsets look, they must look amazing. It is a nice place for when you want to have contact with nature or see how powerful it is, when I am there I feel small, surrounded by beauty, one that is there despite all that it has taken in its path. Many fish in the lake in the mornings, although not everyone eats what they catch. And had you ever seen this part of Lake Valencia?

That lake looks great! Too bad one can't bathe there 😞 At least I see that you can walk near it, even to get a little close to the shore ☺️ also I'm really struck by the way the water looks over it, as if it's a layer of small waves 🥰
Greetings 👋

¡Saludos!
