Como les mencioné en anteriores publicaciones en Venezuela solo existen dos estaciones verano e invierno, en verano hace mucho sol y calor y en invierno es que llueve y está un poco fresco. Así que en fechas como Marzo, Abril y parte de Mayo en Amazonas hace muchísimo calor, los ríos bajan y por supuesto las personas visitan más los balnearios y los sitios turísticos.

Así que este verano, específicamente a finales de abril volvimos a pozo azul 0qrq disfrutar de su frescura y el azul de su agua. Esta visita fue inesperada y motivada por una ola de calor que había en Amazonas en esas fechas, el estado las últimas semanas de Abril advirtió del calor que se estaría sintiendo y pensando en ello se dieron varias instrucciones entre ellas, durante esas semanas ningún empleado público estaría trabajando luego del mediodía.

As I mentioned in previous publications in Venezuela there are only two seasons, summer and winter, in summer it is very sunny and hot and in winter it rains and it is a little cool. So in dates like March, April and part of May in Amazonas it is very hot, the rivers go down and of course people visit more the resorts and tourist sites.

So this summer, specifically at the end of April we returned to pozo azul 0qrq to enjoy its freshness and the blue of its water. This visit was unexpected and motivated by a heat wave that was in Amazonas at that time, the state the last weeks of April warned of the heat that would be felt and thinking about it several instructions were given among them, during those weeks no public employee would be working after noon.

Así que, a partir de las 12 ya podían los trabajadores devolverse a sus casas, lo que trajo como ventaja que mientras estábamos de vacaciones visitando a la familia, estos pudieron pasar más tiempo con nosotros en lugar de en el trabajo hasta la hora de siempre. Para poder lidiar con el calor sin desmayar en el intento, debíamos pasar gran parte del día en cuartos con Aire acondicionado, pero también podíamos visitar ríos para refrescarnos.

Así que un día de repente después del mediodía que ya todos estaban en casa, decidieron de la nada que iríamos a Pozo azul, no habíamos almorzado, ni preparado nada porque obviamente no esperábamos un plan como ese a última hora, así que para resolverlo simplemente compramos pan en la bodega y jamón, y nuestro almuerzo fue eso. Pero honestamente no importó porque un día en el río hace más fácil y llevadera una ola de calor.

So, from 12 o'clock onwards the workers could go home, which brought the advantage that while we were on vacation visiting the family, they could spend more time with us instead of at work until the usual time. In order to deal with the heat without fainting in the attempt, we had to spend most of the day in air-conditioned rooms, but we could also visit rivers to cool off.

So one day suddenly after noon when everyone was already at home, they decided out of the blue that we would go to Pozo Azul, we had not had lunch, nor prepared anything because obviously we were not expecting a plan like that at the last minute, so to solve it we simply bought bread at the bodega and ham, and that was our lunch. But honestly it didn't matter because a day on the river makes a heat wave easier and more bearable.

Cuando llegamos nos dimos cuenta de que muchas personas tuvieron la misma idea, así que habían muchos en el río, pero honestamente no importó, porque lo que queríamos era refrescarnos. Lo que hace especial a pozo azul y todos los demás pozos es que estar dodeados de arboles, es decir que gran parte del pozo está bajo la sombra y por supuesto la brisa de esos árboles. De hecho parte de sus troncos están en el agua.

Pozo azul es un sitio a el que vamos si o si siempre que viajamos a Amazonas, porque es el lugar favorito de la familia de mi esposo, es calmado y porque la corriente no es fuerte, no es exageradamente profundo y uno puede bañarse tranquilo, ademas de que el agua siempre tiene la temperatura perfecta, nunca está demasiado fría, pero jamás está caliente, simplemente es perfecta.

When we arrived we realized that many people had the same idea, so there were many in the river, but honestly it didn't matter, because what we wanted was to cool off. What makes pozo azul and all the other wells special is that they are surrounded by trees, meaning that a large part of the well is under the shade and of course the breeze from those trees. In fact part of their trunks are in the water.

Pozo Azul is a place we always go whenever we travel to Amazonas, because it is the favorite place of my husband's family, it is calm and because the current is not strong, it is not too deep and one can bathe calmly, besides the water always has the perfect temperature, it is never too cold, but it is never hot, it is just perfect.

En esta visita vimos varios animales, había un mono pequeño que al estar acostumbrado a las personas, por estar en un sitio al que mucha gente va, se acercaba sin miedo. Esto es algo que me impresionó demasiado porque obviamente uno cuando vive en la ciudad jamas ve algo parecido, más allá de ardillas o iguanas, que un mono se te acerque es toda una experiencia, pero también deja claro que pozo azul es un sitio demasiado natural, pues los animales siguen viniendo.

También vimos a 2 guacamayas que estaban también en un árbol cercano, estas también están ya acostumbradas a las personas así que aunque son aves libres, se te acercan y si no eres excesivamente miedoso, hasta puedes ponerle tu brazo para que se suban en el, yo soy miedosa, especialmente porque son animales silvestres que no sabes como puedan reaccionar, si te muerden o lo que sea, aún así, amo a los animales y me hacia mucha ilusión sostenerla en mi brazo así que me atrevi.

On this visit we saw several animals, there was a small monkey that being used to people, being in a place where many people go, approached without fear. This is something that impressed me too much because obviously when you live in the city you never see anything like that, beyond squirrels or iguanas, a monkey approaching you is quite an experience, but it also makes it clear that pozo azul is a very natural place, because the animals keep coming.

We also saw 2 macaws that were also in a nearby tree, these are also already used to people so although they are free birds, they approach you and if you are not excessively fearful, you can even put your arm on them so they can climb on it, I am fearful, especially because they are wild animals that you do not know how they can react, if they bite you or whatever, even so, I love animals and I was very excited to hold it on my arm so I dared.

No importa cuantas veces visite pozo azul siempre habrá algo nuevo y especial que ver en el, además de que el pozo azul del invierno y el del verano son como dos sitios totalmente diferentes, ambos muy lindos, limpios y repletos de naturaleza, así que no importa la fecha siempre te sentirás feliz al bañarte en sus aguas.
