A beautiful place in Pueblo Nuevo de la Sierra [Esp-Eng]

During my visit to Falcón state, I was lucky enough to stay in an incredibly cool place. It was a place that, although quite far from the center (like Coro, exactly two hours away), didn't matter at all, because being there was so special that, honestly, nothing else even mattered.

For starters, the climate there was ideal for me. Although I like the cold, honestly, places with climates like that always feel a little sad, despite the immense beauty that I am aware exists in them. On the contrary, hot places, although they are quite beautiful and colorful, I don't really love them. But in Pueblo Nuevo de la Sierra, the climate is perfecto, it is cool and warm at the same time.

Durante mis días de visita en el estado Falcón, tuve la dicha de poder quedarme en un sitio increíblemente genial. Era un lugar que, aunque estaba bastante lejos de la parte céntrica (como lo es Coro, a dos horas de distancia exactamente), no importaba en absoluto, porque estar ahí era demasiado especial y, honestamente, lo demás ni siquiera se notaba.

​Para empezar, en este lugar había un clima ideal para mí. Aunque me gusta el frío, honestamente los lugares con climas así siempre se sienten un poquito tristes, a pesar de la belleza inmensa que soy consciente que existe en ellos. Por el contrario, los lugares calurosos, aunque son bastante lindos y coloridos, la verdad es que no me encantan. Pero en Pueblo Nuevo de la Sierra el clima es perfecto, es fresco y cálido a la vez.

On the other hand, and I think this is one of the most important points for me, this place is surrounded by nature in its entirety. There I saw plants of all kinds and flowers of all colors and shapes that, due to the climate of the area, grow very easily. Apart from this, the area is surrounded by mountains, so everything around you is painted a beautiful green due to the vegetation. It was simply a feast for the eyes, but something I really enjoyed looking at was a small lake that was on the property where I was staying.

I remember that as soon as it was daylight and I could see that lake at the end of the house, I couldn't help but look for it every time I passed by, honestly, it gives a unique and special beauty to this already beautiful place. The lake is part of the property, which is not just a house, but a kind of farm with livestock and crops. The lake is not natural, but was built there, I suppose for the livestock to drink water.

​Por otra parte, y creo que es uno de los puntos más importantes para mí, este lugar está en medio de la naturaleza en su totalidad. Allá vi plantas de todo tipo y flores de todos los colores y formas que, debido al clima de la zona, se dan con mucha facilidad. Aparte de esto, la zona está rodeada de montañas, así que a tu alrededor todo se pinta de un verde bastante bonito debido a la vegetación. Era simplemente un espectáculo para los ojos, pero algo que me gustaba mucho observar era un pequeño lago que estaba en la casa donde me hospedaba.

​Recuerdo que, apenas se hizo de día y pude ver ese lago al final de la casa, no pude dejar de buscarlo cada vez que pasaba por ahí, honestamente, le da una belleza única y especial a este lugar tan bonito. El lago forma parte de la propiedad, que no es solamente una casa, sino una especie de finca donde hay ganado y siembras. El lago no es natural, sino que lo construyeron allí, supongo que para que el ganado beba agua.

No matter what the purpose of that lake was, what matters is that it gave me so much peace during those days, even more than the surrounding nature did. Several times, my husband and I went down to the shore just to look at it. Since it is isolated from everything, it is so quiet and calm that it was perfect for relaxing.

Although we didn't stay for many days, the truth is that being there was a very beautiful and unique experience. I could easily stay there for a long time, because the peace you breathe is incredible, totally different from the hustle and bustle of the city. I think one of the things that makes this place so special is how difficult it is to get there. I don't remember exactly how long our trip took, but I know we left in the morning and arrived late at night at that specific place.

​No importa el propósito de ese lago, lo importante es que me dio demasiada paz todos esos días, incluso más de la que me daba la naturaleza que lo rodeaba. Varias veces, junto con mi esposo, bajamos a la orilla simplemente para verlo. Como es un lugar aislado de todo, es tan silencioso y calmado que resultaba perfecto para relajarse.

​Aunque no fueron muchos los días que nos quedamos, la verdad es que estar allí fue una experiencia muy bonita y única. Fácilmente podría quedarme a vivir ahí durante muchísimo tiempo, porque la paz que se respira es increíble, totalmente distinta al bullicio de la ciudad. Pienso que una de las cosas que hace tan especial a este lugar es lo difícil que es llegar a él. No recuerdo bien cuánto duró nuestro viaje, pero sé que salimos en la mañana y llegamos tarde en la noche a ese sitio específicamente.

We spent the day traveling, changing from one bus to another and then to a car that picked us up at the Coro terminal. As soon as we arrived, I thought that the whole journey had been worth it. I think what I liked most was the tranquility that permeated the atmosphere, and what made it even more special were the people who were with us during those days, as they were the perfect complement to this beautiful place.

Of all the beautiful places I visited, this was one of my favorites because of the atmosphere there: so much peace, tranquility, and warmth in one place. As I said, the people who were nearby or who lived there are extremely beautiful people, and I feel that, simply by being who they are, they make this place the perfect place to be.

​Pasamos el día viajando, cambiando de un autobús a otro y luego a un carro que nos fue a recoger al terminal de Coro. En cuanto llegamos, pensé que todo ese trayecto había valido la pena. Creo que lo que más me gustó fue la tranquilidad que se respiraba en el ambiente, y lo que lo hizo más especial fueron las personas que estuvieron con nosotros esos días, pues fueron el complemento perfecto para este hermoso lugar.

​De todos los lugares bonitos que visité, uno de los que más me gustó fue este, por el ambiente que se respiraba en él, tanta paz, tranquilidad y cariño en un solo sitio. Como dije, quienes estaban cerca o quienes vivían ahí son personas sumamente hermosas y siento que, por el simple hecho de ser como son, hacen de este lugar el sitio perfecto para estar.
