Liam And The Baby

One fine day, Liam must’ve sensed that Mama was about to collapse from carrying Baby non-stop. So, with the bravery of a boy scout, he stepped up and said, “I volunteer as tribute!”—offering to babysit.

Mama, equal parts skeptical and desperate, agreed. She pretended to let him take over. But let’s be honest—Liam had no idea what he was doing. Baby was carefully stationed on the bed while Kuya stood guard like a mini superhero.

Not long after, Baby started wailing like he was auditioning for a soap opera.

Exasperated, Liam launched into a dramatic speech:
“What more do you need, little one? Mama’s here. Papa’s here. I’m here—your favorite Kuya! What else are you looking for?!”

Mama chuckled from the doorway 😅.

That’s when it hit me—
Maybe Baby didn’t need more people. He just wanted to be seen. To be really felt. Even though everyone was there, he felt… invisible.

And honestly? Don’t we all get like that sometimes?

We cry. We panic. We feel alone—even in a room full of people.

But here's the truth: God is always with us. Fully present. Fully aware. And if we trust Him, we won’t lack anything.

Psalm 23:1 says, “The Lord is my Shepherd—I shall not want.”

Not even for sleep. Not even for emotional support fries.

So hang in there. And stay clingy—to God, that is.🙌

PS. I had read this story on FB in a local dialect and just twisted it a bit in English; the idea and what happened is not originally mine. It's just too great not to share.
