Conclave Arcana Presale is almost a week away from ending. After its end, a general sale will start, and purchased packs can now be opened. New sets of cards, together with the rebellion set, will now be king in the modern format. This will bring new excitement and game experience to playing in the Modern Format.

However, does the game have enough players to compete in the modern format? Based on the presale leaderboards, the same name or investor is at the top of it. No new investors are purchasing the latest releases. Also, some investors and guilds have been heavily invested in the Chaos Legion set, and most of their decks are being run by scholars, now that it is transitioning to the wild format players will also be transitioned to the said format meaning there will be a decrease in numbers of players in the modern format.

Although, rental market will always be there but the question is are the players are willing to rent those new cards to stay competitive in the modern format. I hope the rental market for the new set will be affordable, especially for players who are renting to play. General sale will run for months, and hopefully, the marketing team will accumulate more players and investors to come into the game. Also, with the rise of crypto, maybe the game will be better, and packs purchases will do great.

What are you most excited about with the release of Conclave Arcana?

What I'm excited about the release of Conclave Arcana is of course, the new cards from common, rare, epic, and legendary, both from monsters to summoners. Also, the structure of black foil and gold foil arcane together with new abilities. I'm excited about how will modern format will change in terms of gameplay, strategy, etc. These new releases will bring a new game experience since the game introduces new mechanics from summoners that can summon old cards based on what they call Race or Bloodline Dominion.

Any card art, lore teasers, or abilities you're hoping to see?

Card art and Lore teasers are always fun to view and read. Splinterlands card art is designed properly, which makes the main face of the game. Kudos to the team for always innovating to provide the best quality card art. Lore stories are always enjoyable to read. On the other hand, I'm excited about the new abilities on how they will synergize with the existing abilities. Will there be new strategies or a combination of these abilities that will be brought to the game, or will it be another ability that just adds up? Hoping to see the modern format as good as new with these new releases.

How do you think this set will impact your personal strategy?

For now, I don't know, since I'm renting to play, I will be observing first the rental market, and if the new release conclave arcana is affordable. Maybe I should try one season and see if it's good for spending. For sure, a lot of strategy will arise and will change the meta, and with the Chaos Legion set transition to wild league summoner tactics from the Rebellion set will be more dominant, together with the upcoming Conclave Arcana set.
