Finn and Scarlett Enjoy Smoked Ostrich Bone - Great Pyrenees X Akbash Puppies - July 18, 2023

Finley, or Finn / Finney as I've been calling her, and Scarlett are a couple of Great Pyrenees X Akbash mixed breed puppies that I recently took home from a farm in Ohio. I originally went to pick up a male from the litter, but instead I left with both Finn and her sister Scarlett. Scarlett was apparently getting mauled by her brothers and sisters at the food bowl. When I first saw her, she had facial wounds that were covered with bugs and flies. It seemed obvious that without proper care and cleaning, it was only a matter of time before she catches a nasty infection. Yet she still seemed like the happiest, most energetic pup in the whole litter with the waggiest tail and biggest smile… So I decided to take her home! Finn is a really good lookin' pup with a lot more of her mother's Akbash genes. She's curious and active and seems to be in great shape.
