Me too, there are a lot of events I don't attend. Sometimes I just turn down an invite to a party to have my me-time or use the previous time to attend to more important things

That's nice. Honestly, we can't just do everything, even at a total disadvantage to ourselves. Some events need to be cut to have some of such times.
