Simple, Classy DIY Necklace
Hi everyone, Sunday blessings. I'm already having a peaceful one. I will love to share how I made this gorgeous, simple, classic pearl necklace. Grab some sheets of paper and pen and come with me let's do this pearl necklace together.
Materials
• 6mm pearl bead
• Fishing line
• Scissors
• Hook
Procedure
First, I started with cutting out the amount of fishing line I will be using. Be sure to cut out enough.
I knot the end of my line to my hook. Tieing carefully and cut off the excess. I start with four pearl beads.
I place the four pearl beads on my line.
I cross over my line with the last bead on the line forming this beautiful flower design.
I cross my line to the next two bead. I add three beads to my line.
I cross my line with the next two beads. I add three beads.
From the above image where my thumb is placed that is the bead to cross your line and the next one too.
I build up the bead adding three beads and making sure it is tight enough and there is no loose part. In the image below you can see how beautiful it is already.
Since I was making this for myself, I constantly checked it round my neck. I didn't want it too tight not too loose. I want it just comfortable and beautiful. I counted the flowers and it was up to 20.
To make something like a pendant, I used four beads. I put four beads to my line and cross my line with the next three beads.
I add three beads to my line and cross my line to the next two beads.
Next I add three beads to my line then cross over to the next three beads.
My necklace is already building up, my line wasn't enough so I didn't wait for it to finish up. I weave the remaining of it into the bead making sure it is well secured before I cut off the excess.
I cut out a measurable amount of fishing line and continued from where I stopped. I used the right end of the fishing line for the new fishing line I cut out while the left end I weave it into the line and secure it so it won't be loose. After weaving in I cut off the excess.
As you can see the bead is already looking so beautiful. I make 20 flowers just like the other side so that they will be even.
I tie the end of my line to my hook making sure it is well secured not loose and not too tight.
As you can see our bead is already beautiful and well crafted sitting pretty on my neck. So classy, so simple and demure. So guys, will you like to try out this section? I would love to hear your opinions in the comment section. Let me know how you feel about my necklace. Until next time, Rock on!
