Leaving My Comfort Zone

The comfort zone is leaving that place of relaxation to a more taskful place not so comfortable
We are always in search of something and each step ahead we need to move from an area of comfort to one we need to adapt to, survive to and succeed in.
For me, I left my comfort zone at a young age. Barely 12 years old when I journeyed into a boarding house. On my first day I cried a lot and ended up trying so hard to adapt to my environment. It was a totally new experience for me though I had limited freedom but having friends made it much more fun.
Next was my tertiary institution when I had to leave alone in pursuit of my degree. It was another level of freedom and total experience. This time I choose to make my own decision, leave the life I want and explore more. Made both good, bad and ugly friends, learnt a lot of lessons and still ended up having that good result which I wanted.
I could remember when I was in school, I had a reading mate and we both had our spot of reading. I couldn't read in my room, I would be distracted and sometimes end up not achieving anything at all. Instead I prefer to go out to read with my reading mate. That way I achieve my reading targets and I feel so confident to write my exams. Most times I feel the same way especially when I want to work on something important, I rather not stay in my room, sometimes staying far away from my room helps me get serious on whatever I want to work on.
Leaving my comfort zone has helped me a lot to achieve most of my goals.
It is like seeing life in a different view, you have to adapt, you fight to drive and survive. Requires a good amount of discipline to work and focus on your comfort zone.
Leaving our comfort zone for greener pastures helps us hustle more because there is nobody to fall back to. Imagine going to a city where you know nobody. He has to hustle so much because there is nobody to fall back to when things get really tough.
