My father have once reminded me severally that single mothers doesn't have a place in the society no matter the situation resolve the issues and stay married. At the same time ladies are frown upon for leaving their husbands house to their parents house without listening to their own side of the stories. Most ladies die in silence just because they want to remain married. Domestic violence are on the high even relationships are not left out then I begin to wonder why will you stay in a relationship where your partner beats you up at slight provocation. While if you receive a slap from your guardian or parents you will be agitated to fight back. You endure beatings from your partner with an excuse that he will come back to his senses. How?

Love is a beautiful thing and everyone wants to have all it's goodness and every lady wants to jump into the next available guy ready for marriage just because they guy is wealthy. Nobody wants to suffer, nobody wants to be stressed. But then what happens when the money is no longer there?

It's 50-50. You feel ontop of the world for having not to stress any bit while the man goes out to work for the money everyday. What happens when he looses his job? Comes home to relax with you, that's where the frustration comes in. Your needs isn't meet as before then the only solution is to pour your frustrations to the man forgetting that he usually does that just that the table suddenly turned around and before you know it divorce papers signed, marriage to the mod, increasing the rate of divorce in the society.

Most people don't want to get to know the guy as far as he has money and coming back from outside the country then they are available to mingle.

I have seen a young vibrant woman who does nothing but to stay home with her kids while the husband does the job and every year she was always giving birth to kids. Bringing so many children into the world, they can't even take care of. She wasn't doing anything and she felt comfortable seeing her children stay home without going to school. Every single day is always one quarrel and the other the worst of it they fight each other in the presence of their children, sowing a seed deep into their children mind.

When I asked my mother about this prompt she told me a story of her uncle who married from another state. They husband was the breadwinner while the wife did nothing till the husband lost his job. She came back to the village and became a petite thief. A full grown woman with grown up kids. I wonder what her kids will turn into.

My mother kept emphasising on being creative. Start up something just do something no matter how small it is. It's going to boom. Just try to show up everyday. When it comes to hustling my mum serve as my role model. She just does things in an amazing way that I begin to wonder how she did that. I silently watch her everyday and she is my biggest moltivation. I will choose to have both pieces of cake equal in all proportion. Money and love.
