Children’s fellowship time — so blessed to see these kids enjoying Bible study and sharing God’s love.

Hello my fellow Hivers! I hope you’re all doing great today.

Last Sunday, after I went to church, I visited a place nearby because my best friend Carla called me to help with the children’s fellowship. They also had a small feeding program after sharing God’s word. They do this every Sunday for the kids who live near their church. It was nice to see that the children were willing to listen and really enjoyed the activity.

It was nice to see the children listening carefully to Ma’am Emely. Some of them even raised their hands when they knew the answer. I said to myself, I hope these kids grow up to be obedient and God-fearing, and that they don’t go the wrong way. We all know that many young people today, when not guided by their parents, grow up without fear of God, some start bad habits early or even steal. That’s the effect when they are not taught good manners. That’s why the purpose of their church is to teach the children that there is a God who loves and watches over them. That’s what Ma’am Emely shared last Sunday.

I also admired Ma’am Emely and the volunteers who spend their Sundays teaching the kids. They know that what they are doing today will help the children become better people in the future. The Baptist Church organized this wonderful activity for the kids, with the goal of helping them grow in faith and good values. Their purpose is to plant good seeds in the children’s hearts seeds of faith, love, and discipline so that when they grow up, they will remember what they learned here. As Ma’am Emely said, When we teach a child to walk with God, even when they grow old, they will not turn away from it. Those words touched my heart deeply.

I realized how big the responsibility is for parents and teachers to help children grow with faith and good values. In today’s world, many kids face challenges like peer pressure, lack of attention, or bad influences. That’s why programs like this children’s fellowship are such a blessing. They don’t just learn about Bible stories; they also learn how to be kind, honest, respectful, and prayerful. It is a simple activity, but it helps shape their hearts and minds. Brother Jhun also shared a story with the kids and taught them how to pray afterward. He asked everyone to pray together, and it was so touching to see the children close their eyes and pray sincerely.

I was also happy to see that the parents supported this program. It’s good to know that they trust the church to help guide their children. Pastor Walter also shared a message with the parents, reminding them about the importance of faith and family. It was nice to see everyone listening and learning together. I really hope they will continue to serve God faithfully and keep supporting this beautiful ministry.

Seeing those children singing and learning made me feel hopeful for the next generation. If more kids will grow up with love and respect for God, our world will surely become a better place. That simple fellowship reminded me that small acts of kindness and teaching can make a big difference in a child’s life.
