A man's vulnerability is powerful!

~•°•The first time I saw a man crying, I cried too.

A man can display his wealth, businesses, intelligence, family, integrity, ego, and his physique. A man can show everything that makes him appear strong but never his emotions.

As a child I was taught that men do not cry, they don't show their vulnerability, because society perceives it as a weakness. That's why a man can bottle up his pain, struggle through life, laugh, smile and still feel completely lonely.

The first time I saw a man cry was when he lost his only child. His sorrow was overwhelming, his tears held so much misery, it was emotionally painful to witness. I didn't cry because I saw other ladies crying, I broke down in tears because I could feel his pain.

Men are emotional beings. No matter how much they try to present themselves as the logical ones, they still feel fear, pain, agony. They experience depression, they suffer and the worst part is they carry greater responsibility. Yet, instead of crying, like we women do to let out our emotions, they are not allowed to express their bitterness and hurt, they are expected to wear a smile, be brave, take risks and leave their emotions behind like it means nothing.

So to my future husband, I will be there for you. On days when you feel like you're not enough, I will remind you of your worth and encourage you. On days when you feel frustrated because things are not working out, I will motivate you. On the days when you feel lost and hopeless, I will hold your hands and pray for you. When you doubt yourself and feel undeserving, I will remind you about your journey and tell you how proud I am of your efforts. And on the days when you would cry in silence, I will cry with you. Remind you of my love, remind you how you're not all by yourself as we overcome whatever is weighing you down.

I have always been a fan of Dean Lewis songs, the man goes for your emotions and makes his point loud and clear.

I really appreciate the lyrics of this song, Half_a_Man In my honest opinion he was expressing things a lot of men can never say in real life, but they are going through such pain, degrading themselves because of the situation they found themselves in, not loving themselves enough to share that same love with others. Feeling undeserving, lost and alone in their own world. And they feel nobody can save them. No one is out there to appreciate, love or comfort them. Which is so sad.

I know the world is not far towards men, that's why if you have a partner going through this, as a woman, leave your own emotions and see things from his own way. Love your spouse, partner, companion harder, sacrifice so much that they can heal with you too. The world is an evil place, let's fight out problems together instead of ourselves.

I'm sure your future husband will be lucky to have a supportive lady like you beside him.

It's not easy for some men, I agree. But I know when the time comes for a man to be free, even baskets will hold water for him.
