From Stage Fear to Online Success: How Reciting Naat Sharif Changed My Life
Assalamualaikum and hello to my #indiaunited community.
Welcome to another blog. I am very pleased because I stood third in the competition held by this amazing community last week. I always try to share my personal experiences with this wonderful community.
This week’s topic is also very interesting for me. I would like to share my personal experience with you guys. I hope you will learn something from it and that it will be a helpful post for you.
The topic is “The Skill That Changed My Life.”
Reciting Naat Sharif and singing songs were just passions for me. I never knew that this passion would become a source of income for me. I started reciting Naat Sharif at school, but at that time it was only for the sake of my passion. I always felt calmness and enjoyment while reciting Naat Sharif. As Muslims, we praise our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH) through Naat Sharif, so it is also a spiritual activity for us.
I still remember that when I was in class eight, we used to celebrate “Bazm-e-Adab” every Friday. I recited Naat Sharif for the first time in front of my classmates during the Bazm-e-Adab period. I was shivering, and my confidence level was very low. I had never performed on stage before, so performing in front of my classmates for the first time was not an easy job at all. But as time went on, I gained confidence. I believe that if you have a talent, it automatically builds your confidence. Talent and practice are the basic tools for growing confidence.
I started learning Naat Sharif from my respected father because he used to recite Naat Sharif at home and in the masjid. His voice is very sweet, and his way of delivering words is outstanding. He became my role model in reciting Naat Sharif.
As I grew older, I continued reciting Naat Sharifs at mehfils in masajid and at the college level. I received a lot of encouragement from my teachers as well as my classmates. I still remember when I was invited to a gathering where famous Naat khuwans from all over Pakistan were present. I also recited Naat Sharif there and received cash prizes from the audience. That was the time when I realized that this skill could become my profession. So, I started learning more Naat Sharifs and practicing regularly at home.
Here I am sharing a picture that I captured while reciting Naat sharif.

When I joined Hive and the 3Speak platform, my mentor, Sir @yousafharoonkhan, told me that #3Speak is a tailor-made place to express your hidden talent. He said this is the place where you can earn from your skill of reciting Naat Sharif.
So, I started uploading videos on 3Speak. At first, I did not get much support. Then I learned about a community called #Vibes on Hive, and I started participating in the Vibes Web2 music competition.
After participating in a few competitions, one day my video suddenly went viral. I earned 98 USD from that video. It was the highest-paying video of my Hive and 3Speak career. Later on, I polished my skill of reciting Naat Sharifs even more, and I became the first Pakistani who won the Vibes Web3 music competition and was awarded 100 USD as a prize. It was the day when my dream came true, and I was extremely pleased.
Here I am sharing screenshot of my 98 USD earnings on that particular video.

During this period, I remained regular and consistent. I participated in every ongoing contest on Hive, such as the Vibes Web3 music competition and the Praise and Worship music competition. I did not use any equipment like a mic, and I never edited my videos, but still, they went viral. This happened because I believed in my hidden talent and kept polishing my skill of reciting Naat Sharif.
In the end, I would like to say that if you have a skill, never underestimate it. Keep working on it and keep polishing it. Remain disciplined, stay consistent, and have faith in Allah. A small skill can change your entire life.

This is so interesting, it's only we the human beings that are limiting ourselves.
God Almighty pust some skills in all of us. Only if we can agree to publish them. Thank you!
Everyone is given a special talent by ALLAH. No matter it is man or woman...Now we should clear our mind from this myth of man's superiority....
Skills are doors opener.
Yes indeed
You are welcome 🤗😁
