From Passion to Profession: Where I Went Wrong and How You Can Succeed|| A Lesson For You

Assalamualaikum and hello to my #HiveGhana community. I think it's my first post here in this community. I came across a post in which I read about a weekly competition going on in this community. So I decided to take part in that particular competition and share my thoughts on it. There were three topics and I decided to go with third one which is Forgotten Passion.
I wanted to become a Singer or you can say a naatkhuwan. A naat khuwan in Urdu language is a person who praise and recite for our beloved Holy Prophet PBUH. Naat is a praise of Hazrat Muhammad SAWW and Naatkhuwan is a reciter of that particular naat.

Reciting Naat or singing a song is still my passion but I couldn't not convert it into my profession. I always miss that particular thing in my whole life. I have said good bye to music and reciting naat because of my job and livelihoods. This dream wasn't full filled.

Reciting Naat and singing song is still my passion. WheneveI get bored I start singing a song sometimes intentionally and sometimes unintentionally. Those people are very lucky ones whose passion becomes profession. They enjoy their life.

But those who don't recognize their talent at early age, suffers in their whole life. Because if your passion don't become profession, you cannot enjoy your career as well as your life. For being the best in your career, you have to find your talent. Although I have missed this trick and couldn't recognize my talent at early age, that's why I couldn't convert my passion of reciting naat or singing songs into my career.

So here I am giving you some advices or you can say some signs of finding your hidden talent.

1. If you are doing a particular thing or work multiple times in a day intentionally or unintentionally, it's your talent. Go with this talent and make it your profession. You will definitely grow in this particular field.

2. If your interest is increasing in a particular field and you are gaining knowledge of that field, then also it's your hidden talent. Make it your profession, you will progress in this particular field. You will become the best version of yourself. You will enjoy your work and will progress in this field.

3. If you are doing a task or thing and you are out of time and space, means while doing a task, time flies very quickly and you spent hours and hours in that particular work, but you don't feel fatigued in that work. It is also a sign of your hidden talent.

4. If you enjoy a lot in doing any work or task. It becomes your enjoyable task. It is also a sign of your hidden ability. That work or task is your talent. You must find it at your early age, otherwise you will suffer in your life.

In the end I would say that I have said good by to my talent and because I couldn't recognize it at early age and it didn't become my profession. But I will recommend you that you should not repeat this mistake in your life. I have told you the signs of recognizing your talent. So find your talent and convert it in your profession. Believe me you will enjoy your work and you will progress a lot in that field. You will become unique in your work because the work will become enjoyment, fun and game for you.
