It must be avoided that it rains on wet ...
Life changes you radically when you learn this. I learned to withdraw to calm down and see clearly the situations that arise in life. Things happen now, but they don't affect me. Depression, anxiety dissipated and I live more cheerful, more calm.
Understanding that I can't fix everything right away is a deeply intelligent act from the emotional point of view. I always say that it is essential to learn the lesson, many times we make mistakes and we make them again. That's not right. It must be avoided that it rains on wet.
That's right, in fact I was one of the desperate people who want to solve everything right away, who doesn't want to leave anything for later, but there are people who don't work like that, otherwise, quite the opposite, then I learned to let the waters calm down and approach the topic calmly.
I learned this lesson after I was 43 and after many trips, bumps and falls... but I learned... and that's the important thing!! by the way, I've been through that age for a while now hahah. Learning the lesson is fundamental...
There are times when the situation is so tense in my environment and it is better to wait for the situation to calm down, for everything to calm down, to be clear and take the other or other steps. In fact, many times we hurt more because of that impulsivity than because of the very problem we are going through.
When I make mistakes I publicly retract if public is my mistake, my mistake, or my offense. Now, there are other ways to apologize if the action has been in private.
A few days ago, I took a distance for something personal with a person I want an amount, to avoid confrontations, and I know that the right time will come to be able to talk and try to make everything flow well.
To take care of communication is to take care of the bond.
In fact, many times, we hurt more because of that impulsivity than because of the very problem we are going through. By far, we have a better approach and perspective of the situation.
That's what brush artists do. By moving away, you can see the whole and its details, and you can perceive reality better.
And that doesn't mean you won't fix it. Maybe later, with a cool head, but not now. Sometimes we need that space. And I'm saying maybe why sometimes in that time you realize that there is nothing to repair. How rude, right?. Well, we have to stop for a moment!, that impulsiveness, that hurts too much.
Also, in many cases, the best solution is to do nothing and wait and if possible bite the tip of the tongue, keeping quiet is healthy.
Why? Because sometimes, taking distance is necessary. In fact, understanding that you can't fix everything right away is a profoundly emotionally intelligent act.
In life, we often face situations that overwhelm us and make us feel powerless. We want to solve everything right away, but what happens when we can't?
Storms such as anger, frustration, stress arrive, therefore, it is essential to explore the importance of taking a step back, of observing without acting immediately. This simple gesture can change perspective and offers clarity in times of confusion.
What do we gain by that?
Manage stress better, improve my relationships and make better decisions.
Watch out! Taking a distance is not giving up, it is an intelligent strategy that allows us to recharge our energies and see things from a new perspective. Do you realize that?
Share this reflection, if you liked it. Do you dare to take a step back to move two forward? Or are you one of those who jump right in without asking permission or asking for forgiveness? Let's talk in comments.
