A Song, A Memory, and Covers That Hit Different this week 33

So guess what? It's another new week yet again. As a matter of fact, it's already the end of the new week. It's crazy how time flies, right? But that's why we're here, in this community—to make the fleeting hours that have gone by worthwhile and memorable.

Recently, I've been scrolling and swiping down my screen, and trust me when I say I've seen some crazily good entries, and I've been utterly impressed with the covers.

The two song covers from different artists that caught my attention are from a specific artist who hails from South Africa, and it's in their dialect. Guess the name?? Nah, don't stress it... it's DJ Maphorisa with the song Asibe Happy.

This song was with me through the darkest moments of my life. Its lyrics were comforting to my heart. Maybe that's why I still hold on dearly to it.

These two artists I'm about to highlight sang the same cover but in their own unique version of the original. I'm in love with the covers, not because they sang a favourite song of mine, but because they made me see a different version of the song—giving me a brand new, fresh experience.

This is an emotional piece that conveys nothing but emotions. We can see what the artist wants us to see and feel what he feels. The voice was smooth and flawless—really flawless, I have to say. I guess I just became his biggest fan.

Here's another cover by @bobbydones

Here, we see a cover of the same song above, and the artist here gives us a different version from the first artist. His version tends to be on a slower tempo, a little bit more riffs, with a nice touch of acapella to it. That's a job well done.

I'd also love to give a shout-out to @verbal-d—here’s his original cover of his song in German.

This man's talent is just not meant for this world. There's literally no genre of music he can't create. I've listened to a lot of his covers, but today I was like, damn, this is just too dope. Keep blessing us with your talent.

I guess that's all for today. Let me know what you think. Hit me up in the comment section.

Please do not abuse the #introduceyourself tag, it is meant for the newbies who make their first intro post because they are starting from scratch.
You have already made yours, and I even featured it in the Hey! Have Ya Met...? project.
