Mini Donuts for the Little Princess, Her Artwork, and Parcels

These past few days, life has been a little lighter since I only need to work for a few hours at night. I also decided to pause from learning Wikipedia guidelines and editing content for affiliate marketing. Because of that, I finally have more time to play and bond with my little niece. She always insists on playing with her, which requires me to "stop using the keyboard". That's what she said.

After weeks of not making mini donuts (because no one buys them, anyway), I took out my cooking materials again and made a full container of mini donuts for my niece's Christmas party. That was a little contribution, apart from the Filipino delicacy her papa brought for her party, too. I started early so everything would be ready before the event, but of course, not all things go perfectly as planned, haha.

I should have made the sauces yesterday so they could chill, but I only made them this morning. Because of that, they didn't set well on donuts. Some were even runny, but I didn't mind since it was getting late. And yes! I delivered them late, haha. But the donuts were immediately eaten by kids and some parents once they were placed on the party's table. Of course, kids love them.

Meanwhile, the little girl was fully dressed and excited. She kept telling everyone she was a princess in her long red dress. It was her first Christmas party, so we let her enjoy the moment. We just went along with it because we didn't want to ruin her special day. The photo was a bity blurry because she kept on turning around.

Yesterday, I took her to a shop to buy something for their exchange gift activity. As expected, she also picked something for herself (she always does anyway, whenever we visit that shop). She chose a small canvas with a lion print and cute painting materials. She loves art like her auntie and mamita, so I didn't hesitate to buy it for her. She was excited to open it when we got home. She started painting the small canvas. I made a short reel of her doing that.

I can honestly say that she's getting better day by day. The result was cute :). A bit messy, though. Don't mind the nose, haha.

Lastly, for today's event....Some parcels finally arrived after being delayed due to the recent typhoon. The empty Christmas boxes sitting under our Christmas tree can now be filled with real gifts! Some packages still haven't arrived, though. But of course, before wrapping them, I need to promote the products first for affiliate marketing. That's just how life works nowadays, promote before use, haha. I think most online shoppers are doing that already.

It feels good to enjoy simple moments like these: watching my niece get excited about her Christmas party and red dress, seeing her improve in art, cooking something special, and seeing the gifts arrive. My life may be hard at times, but I'm still getting small joys and blessings. That's what matters :).
